Really enjoyed this place. I got the grilled Salmon bento box and it was delicious. You can tell everything is really fresh, and made to order. To drink I had the Apple Cucumber Mint juice. Very refreshing, and definitely worth trying. They have other yummy looking flavors to chose from, but this one caught my eye first. Not too busy around lunch time, so no huge crowds to battle with. Make sure to grab a fresh baked cookie on the way out.

I notice so many complaints on Unilocal regarding groupons and negative reviews relating to money or that delivery bagels show up cold. It’s delivery, nothing stays hot forever. If you want it, show up and eat in the restaurant. Forget the negative reviews and COMEHERE to eat THEFOOD. You won’t be disappointed, I haven’t been The soups, quinoa salad and little hummus side will keep me coming back. I will try to venture out and try other menu items, but I could eat Bryan’s quinoa every single day… YUMM!!! I’ve dined here twice and each time the food has been food NIRVANA. The staff, excessively polite, and I WILL be back. I only wish Bryan in the Kitchen were nearer to my home rather than my work downtown. oh well, can’t have everything

I loved the food and the service(quick and friendly) as well. Prices are quite good too about 7.5 dollars for plain salad, but portions are big. Close to MDC and overpriced bayside(literally every place I ate at there was mediocre in the best case)

Breakfast is served«all day»… scratch that expectation out of your head. I got here around noon on a saturday and they were out of most breakfast items. The customer service is crap! The cashier asked me about 5 times what type of bagel I wanted. The food takes forever to come. I had time to go to the bank, come back, and still wait and extra 10 minutes. I told the cashier 3 times to not add dill, when the food gets to me what do I find? Dill. Sunmary: Food is decent. Customer service is sh*t.

I love Bryan in the kitchen! The menu is healthy! And the choices are really good and affordable! We went with a voucher we had, spend $ 50 and get $ 25 off and omg we seriously had to take stuff to go cause we could not eat all that! The food had good flavor and lots of organic options. I had a beet, Apple and carrot juice and it tasted very fresh! The beets were not over powering(my husband might disagree on this, but he hates beets). I also had a lentil soup, amazingly delish! And the Brie, fig and prosciutto panini! That mix is to die for! We took the dessert to go, cookies, buns(my husband said these were not the best) and a cupcake. The waitress, even though you really don’t understand her, she is very nice and eager to help!

Sorry this is so long, but i’m a frustrated loyal customer. This is my second review because I haven’t been here in a while– my past experiences have been amazing. I came here about a month ago and ordered a grilled cheese– that are normally to die for, but unfortunately, I had to ask them to warm up my totally normal sandwich and the bread was warm and the inside cold– NOT being a melted, grilled cheese. I came again earlier today and my grilled cheese was awesome. My issue is that I ordered the mushroom soup and I took to go what I didnt finish and they gave it to me in a coffee cup, with the normal coffee top that has the hole at the top for *drinking* coffee. So I asked if they had a splash stick(its the little plastic stick that goes in that little hole to save you from splashing coffee on the go), the guy said he had to wrap it. So he wrapped my cup with cling wrap… um ok. So i put it, tightly positioned, in my little backpack. I had a few blocks to go from Bryan’s to my car. When I got to my car, guess what?! ITSPILLED. and not because the cup fell sideways– like i said, it was tightly packed– but because it splashed everywhere. Turns out he only wrapped the cup halfway. Don’t you guys deliver? Don’t you do pick up? Wouldn’t it make sense to use regular soup containers? …isn’t this common sense??? Also, today and when I went last month I had to ask for water 3 times before actually getting it. I’m under the impression there may be new management, or the owner isn’t there as often. I believe she was a tall-ish tan, blonde lady w pretty blue eyes and a heavy accent that was/is the owner? She would be there everyday when i used to go and she was on FIRE, literally, her and her staff was the best service ever. Not sure what’s going on, but you’re losing your touch guys.

Nice clean place. Friendly service. Had the Spanish and Italian eggs — tasty and great aioli sauce on the Spanish eggs. I applied for a Unilocal coupon while at the register and they were kind enough to wait for it to come up, an owner end it.

Ordered delivery which came fast. We had the bri lunch panini and the breakfast sandwich, they were both very good! We also had the yogurt fruit bowl. It was okay. Price was decent.

We loved Bryan’s. We came with 6 people before a cruise. Their location is fantastic and very close to the port. We had the Brie and Fig grilled cheese which was delicious. I recommend getting some mustard with it as well. We got the prosciutto panini, the beef baguette, and the Thai curry Bento box. All of those were very fresh and delicious. We also got the avocado salad with seared tuna and the strawberry salad. Both were very fresh and scrumptious. Their desserts are AMAZING. They’re all freshly baked and truly great. Their café con leche is good as well. Lastly, the service was very good. We recommend this place for a healthy and great quality lunch!

Quick Background about me: 9 years in the hospitality industry(from dishwasher, server, manager, you name it!). Have worked as a personal chef. Traveled extensively through Europe, lived in Africa and South America, Now the U.S. I find myself a foodie and pretty decent at wine… Review: first off, I am not sure why it is categorized in Unilocal as Asian fusion. I did not view it in this way, more like a vegan/vegetarian restaurant, no? I love this place. The staff is very attentive and super friendly. They have a smile on their faces! Very rare in downtown haha… The food is good, fresh. I had a peanut butter jelly cupcake here– perfect. Flavorful, moist, and literally one of the best cupcakes I’ve had in Miami for certain. I always come for the coffee and the salads. My only wish is that you had actual salmon instead of smoked salmon to add onto the salad-to switch it up from the usual around here but a girl can only dream!

NOTE: I am willing to update my review when they actually honor their groupon and serve the food that is supposed to be served. i purchased a groupon for brunch on saturday. we went on saturday morning. I informed the waiter about our groupon. he said they did not have a brunch menu, that they were«working» on trying to get a brunch menu together. I asked if they’d be willing to just give us our groupon value and let us order what we wanted off their normal breakfast menu. he said he needed to ask someone, and then never returned. we waited for about ten minutes. we got up and left. I absolutely hate when businesses don’t honor their groupons. the business is the one who put out the offer to begin with. how can you not have a brunch menu if you’re offering a brunch groupon? furthermore, there’s no working website to be able to check their menu.

I am really unsure how this place gets 4 star from the people who have rated it. Our office ordered lunch from here today and most of us had to order lunch elsewhere afterwards because our food was inedible. Not only was our order wrong but the quinoa and chicken tasted bad and smelled rotten. I ordered the pasta with sun dried tomato pesto and chicken. My order arrived without chicken, hardly and pesto and tasted like plain pasta. To make matters worse they bring the missing chicken which smelled rotten and also brought a cupcake back to us as a gift for their mistake. Too bad the cupcake was moldy. You can see my photo for yourself, I have attached it. Eat here at your own risk.

Came here by mere chance — had an extra 40 mins before class and wanted to try something new. At first glance, from the outside. It doesn’t look like much. Then, you step into this extremely creatively decorated interior and you feel like you’ve left downtown and teleported to a magical land of awesome! Highly underrated, great food, great presentation, great service. Definitely will make it back here. I had the Italian style eggs with toast and a side salad. Very delicious and wholesome breakfast. Coffee and orange juice also very fresh and yummy. My friend had the chicken and mozzarella breakfast panini, which left her with high praises as well. Surprised by the small amount of people here, but definitely worth a try! Think of it as a private venue ;)

I had been to Bryan in the kitchen a number of time to try the baked goods. Cookies have been solid. I’d tried cupcakes a couple times however and been underwhelmed by each(finding them too dense and the buttercream not good). I had sort of figured I wouldn’t be giving Bryan in the Kitchen another shot… .. . but then I learned that they now have sushi from the people who used to be Little Lotus. Which brought me back to try dining in. I had the bento box lunch — eight pieces of sushi, california roll, miso soup, a couple of chicken gyoza, and salad with a ginger dressing. I was very pleased with the sushi — the freshness really stood out here and made it standout from the mostly subpar sushi offerings downtown. The gyoza were good. I liked the salad which had uncommonly tasty and substantial greens for a bento box sized salad. The miso soup was average. Bryan in the Kitchen is definitely worth trying for the sushi.

Bryan’s is now open for dinner and the amazing thing about it is that they are serving the menu from the old Ozzie Sushi!!! Good lunch and awesome dinner. I can finally get my Torched Squid rolls back that I have been dying for. This is definitely worth the trip. Sari, Im glad your back in town mama!!!

Every time I order from here it’s gone bad Either an order is missing AND another is messed up I always tip 20% on delivery too. So it’s like. Common. At least check the order. Maybe this place is great for going and sitting down. But NOT for delivery.

We tired this place for lunch and to be honest nothing on the menu seems that appetizing. So I clicked Unilocal and saw the popular dish was fig chutney and brie panini. I ordered the sandwich $ 8.50 with a side of lacking pasta salad looked like a sample size. The sandwich should not have been served all the cheese dried up and melted out I basically paid for bread. I ate a little more than half of a half and just said I have to send this back. I showed the girl and she made me a new one. The way it should have looked. That being said I don’t think for $ 8.50 they should have served me that in the first place. My husband got a smoothie with oatmeal? Blah I told him that just sounded nasty and so I tasted it and I was right ! On a side note I bought their granola $ 4 a bag is pretty cheap they make it there. I probably will not be going back anytime soon.

Bryan In The Kitchen was a Downtown Miami staple long before I moved in to the neighborhood and will survive far past my departure. With less than a week left as a Miami resident, particularly a Downtown Miami resident, I thought there was no time like the present to finally try it out. It was. ok. The thing about being the top dog for so long(in an admittedly sparse field) is that you’ve never pushed to up your game. On the Monday afternoon I stepped in for takeout lunch, I found a relatively light crowd. I was glad to see this. It meant that I missed the lunch rush. The second thing that struck me were the prices. Everything hovered around $ 11. Depending on my mood, that may be a bit much for lunch. But, there’s not much competition and you can actually sit down with silverware at BITK — even if you plan on taking your food to go. The option’s there and that cost is passed on. The interior is stark(on purpose), white and efficient. It left me feeling clean — and that’s a good thing. It took a little while for anyone to address me, despite(or, maybe because) the fact that I stood in front of the menu with open-mouthed confusion. At long last, I decided on the orzo pasta salad with chicken — $ 10.50. Not bad. The salad was decently-sized and prepared fairly quickly. I took my food to go and headed back to my apartment to dig in. The combo of dill, cucumber, mustard dressing, and tomato mixed in to my pasta and protein sounded fantastic. It tasted… okay. Despite the advertised strong flavors of dill and french mustard, the dominant flavor was ‘cold.’ My salad tasted cold. My salad tasted like a cold pasta salad with tomato and bland chicken. Healthy? For sure. Filling. Yeah, I’d say so. Pleasurable? Not really. Maybe I chose poorly? Maybe the secret to BITK’s sauce is to come here for breakfast? I dunno. At least I tried it before moving… right?

Bryan in the Kitchen is a cute little lunch spot in Downtown Miami. I’ve visited them several times and always order the same thing: grilled brie and fig sandwich with a side salad. If you’re looking for a quick bite I highly recommend this place. You can’t go wrong with them.
