This place has the best food ever. Everything I’ve tried has been wonderful. Best chicken fried steak. Great service. The chicken fried bacon is unbelievable. Definitely needs a star rating. We live in Springfield and can not go without eating here. So yummy. I love this restuarant. Great job to all employees of Buttered Buns!

Definitely rose above my expectations! We’re traveling for Easter and this was one of the only places open and thank goodness! The food was home cooked country meals that appear to be homemade… Not the healthiest but very delicious! My family had chicken strips, chilli, grilled cheese, chicken and noodles(dumplings), an open face roast beef sandwich and the buttered bunns! Reminds me of growing up in the country. The Coffee was the best drip coffee I have had in a while!!! Makinse(Mackensie-unsure of spelling) was a great server! It melted my heart when a regular(older man) came in and she sat down with him for a few moments and just chatted with him. The restaurant was clean and maintained… Nicely renovated and decorated. Their saying: We love all our customers, some when they come, some when they go!

This was very good. We were visiting and went. Prices were cheap, staff was great. Actual restaurant was rundown and not great but food was good not amazing but good. Kids loves the free huge bread.

Really good breakfast. Pancakes are sweet and delicious, kids love the cyclops! Biscuits and gravy – man I think I’ve got to get ready and go before they close! I’m hungry now!

We ordered 2 dozen biscuits and sausage gravy. I gave the lady $ 40. It’s my moms 51st birthday, she’s in a wheelchair and not well enough to leave her home. I came from FL and other family from out of town. They were rude about the order. And didn’t put sausage in the gravy. Crumbled a few pieces on the top of it though? thank you I guess? I called the place back and the manager said she made it herself… then she left my grandmother on hold because my grandmother called, feeling terrible as she recommended the place… awful females running the place… Here’s the photos. Idc if it is the only place in Miami Ok… here’s a tip for the GM or Owner… take out business is lower overhead… that means more profit ONYOUR P&L…on any day of the week.

Being vegetarians it’s always hard to find places to eat in smaller towns. The motel clerk recommended this place and we weren’t disappointed. The egg dishes were creative. The veggies were all fresh, the hash brown were freshly made and the pancakes were delicious. The staff was also very friendly.

The mom and pop feel is as good as the food here. On our road trip stopped through here and enjoyed a country breakfast. For the limited staff on hand the service is great.

Let’s be honest, there’s not many options in Miami, OK. My expectations were not high when my friends and I stopped into the Buttered Bunns Café, but we were pleasantly surprised. The french toast was truly delicious. The whipped butter topping was so good, it really didn’t need syrup.(I used some anyway.) Service was prompt and thorough. The coffee was hot and plentiful. We will return if we are ever in Miami again!

Almost missed this place because they aren’t listed for breakfast. Good variety, parking lot was packed at 8:04 am when they opened at 8am. Quick service, attentive but not overwhelming. Great coffee and everyone in my 5 person party was thoroughly pleased with the meal.

On our way to the east coast and we stopped here. Jessica was very friendly and the food was pretty good. My son ordered hotcakes and they were pretty fluffy and yummy. Our bill came out to 25 $ for 4 people which was great.

Breakfast Mixed Bag. Plain Eggs: fine. Biscuit & Gravy: good, not the best but good. Breakfast Burrito: barely warm eggs in a raw tortilla with raw onion and pepper and none of the requested tomato, total fail. Hashed Browns: barely grilled so 90% raw potato, total fail. Coffee: decent, CoffeeMate creamer. Might be the best/only breakfast choice in Miami but could be so much better.

Saw the name and had to go! The Bunns were awesome! The butter was sweet and great. Then our dinner came. I was looking forward to a great meal(as reviews had made it sound) and was quite disappointed. I had the grilled chicken. It had no flavor at all and was extremely dry. I give it a 4star for the pre meal rolls and Atmosphere :-) cute dinner!

The Prairie Thunder Harley Owners Group, or HOG, and the chapter from Indianapolis, Indiana stopped in today! Lunch was fantastic! The wait staff was awesome! Highly recommend this place! Well worth a 200 miles one way ride for lunch!

My friend and I were staying at the Holiday Inn Express and desired something better than the standard hotel breakfast fair. I found Buttered Bund on Unilocal and we decided to give them a try. We were so glad we stopped in! George was wonderful and the breakfast was fantastic. We both highly recommend Buttered Buns!

Their 3 egg omelette gets them 4 stars just by itself. I had the chicken fried steak twice and the first time it was really good and the second it was terrible so don’t know how consistent they are on them. Staff is friendly and has always been prompt when I’ve been there, they usually have Fox News on their flat screen so that should tell you the type of people that congregate inside but its a friendly atmosphere.

When this place opened it was excellent, they were packed all day long. Not so much anymore… the last time I was in I got the onion rings… they were the frozen type and they were so greasy I literally rang the grease out like a water from a dish rag… disgusting. My daughter had the chicken and it was grisly. The mashed potatoes were cold in the middle, which tells me microwave… I miss the old days… I won’t be back here!

Miami, OK, needs a restaurant for people who want to eat food that is good for you — in an environment that does NOT have(1) Fox News on a television,(2) four teens sitting in a booth with a screaming child who is occasionally tended to by her mom … a waitress,(3) a cook who waddles through the dining area on his way to the men’s room with an apron so filthy my gag mechanism engaged, and(4) customers who all look like they are battling obesity or a substance abuse problem. The food was unspectacular and there were very few healthful choices. You’d think there would be at least a great salad or some fresh, not canned, vegetables. To his credit, my waiter was friendly and prompt … but, seriously, where is the place to eat in Miami, OK, for visitors who have greater expectations than the promise of type-two diabetes and daily«attaboy» for Ted Cruz? Or maybe Miami doesn’t want such people to visit or, god forbid, move a business or residence here. #Route66fail

I had the mishmash plate for dinner and it was pretty decent. Rather bland, but they have hot sauces on the table to compensate. The biscuits were awesome, but the gravy sucked. The chicken fried bacon was interesting… crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, and very rich. I could only stomach 1.5 pieces.
