Great food and service! Even on Christmas Day. Perfectly cooked fish. Good kids menu.

Me and my Husband had just left our weekly meeting around 10 and we’re looking for a place to have Drinks & Apps. However it was Christmas Day and every thing was closed. So we brainstormed and decided to go to Cane Fire(located in Marriott Hotel Miami International Airport) && of course they were open. It’s fairly big for a restaurant in the hotel. LOVED the minimal design of red lights in the entrance of the restaurant. They have happy hour from 4pm –7 pm. Me and my husband shared the fried calamari which was amazing ! Yes, it’s fried but it was not greasy. Then my husband decided on the Brisket Sandwich, DELISH. I had to grab a bite. I decided for the Caribbean Conch Soup, it was late and didn’t want nothing heavy. I thought it would be a heavier consistency. It was watered down but still pretty good. As far as drinks, My Husband got the Cane Fire Mojito ! So good. I got the Old Fashion 8, I complained to my husband how it was a small glass cup but it was STRONG ! I had to water it down. I understood why it was a small glass cup. Overall, great service. The kitchen was a bit backed up so we waited just a bit but the calamari lasted till we receive our food. This is walking distance from my house, so we didn’t mind they took a while.

Went there because I saw from the reviews that they had a Cuban sandwich on their menu and people said it was good. I was disappointed to find out they changed their menu :(. So I settled for their signature burger. It was nothing special… kinda greasy, but the meat was cooked just to my liking. The customer service was awesome… very professional. Food is over priced…$ 14 for my burger. Don’t think I would eat here again.

I enjoyed my Thanksgiving Dinner here. Our server was pleasant and gracious. Perfectly suited our needs for a Thanksgiving meal during a long layover at MIA, with their frequent shuttle runs.

For an airport hotel, this restaurant was quite good. I had the salmon entire and really liked it. The salsa verde was a very nice touch.

Located in the hotel lobby, they had great service and great food. Had«Maria’s Cuban» and was one of the best I’ve had. Roasted pulled pork had just enough crunch to it to make it perfect. Had an all day layover at the airport, grabbed shuttle, enjoyed free wifi and great food.

My staff and I stayed at the airport Marriott for a work meeting. We enjoyed drinks and dinner two days in a row. The service was fabulous(Yunay) and the fish tacos excellent. It was nice to have a place with great food that we didn’t have to travel for. Recommended.

Had dinner here. Watched football and ate. Nice atmosphere. We had portebello mushroom, chicken, and angus beef sandwiches. All were good. Had sweet potato fries and they were also good. Service was average as I had to ask several times for more water. Calamari was a bit rubbery.

I stayed at the marriott over the last two days. I was very pleased. I are at the bar both times and the bartenders(Ira and Ali) we’re great. I recommend the chicken tortilla soup. Second day I had a burger because they looked so good. Overall, one of the better hotel restaurants. A big pricey as noted.

Loved the bar, esp Rosie, but… food wise, go find a McDonalds, at least u know what u r getting! Braised short rib over gnocchi, totally overcooked, needed a knife to cut the gnocchi into bite size portion. Hubby ordered salmon, was not a happy camper, and he would eat that 3 times a week, if, I liked it! NOT! I’d suggest get take out or go out!

This restaurant is part of the Miami Airport Marriott, and as far as hotel restaurants go, it is very good. It was a little on the expensive side since it’s in a hotel, but the food was tasty and hot. Most Marriott based restaurants provide a way to obtain Marriott Rewards points for your purchase when you are not staying at the hotel, but this one did not.

Delicious. I had the grilled salmon with vegetable. They added a sweet asian sauce the really made the salmon outstanding(ask for extra sauce). My friend had the asparagus salad and she ate every morsel. She also had a bowl of fish chowder, I had the black bean soup. For dessert, I had the crème brûlée(one of my all time favorites) and my friend had the key lime pie and she enjoyed her dessert. The hotel is beautiful and the service was exceptional. Our waiter Noël treated us exceptionally well and his smile was infectious!!! Beautiful hotel, huge chairs but very comfortable. Noël had to give us cushions to sit up and eat. 2 thumbs up for Cane Fire Grille!!!

My husband and I were staying at the Miami Airport Marriott and arrived late in the evening and figured we’d just get something to eat at the hotel. The Cane Fire Grille was open and they were able to seat us fairly quickly, so we opted for dinner at this place. My memory is a bit of a blur as it was a month ago, so I can’t remember completely what we ordered– but I tend to order beef an think I had the filet or similar and my husband usually orders fish– so he probably had salmon or ahi. We do recall that the food was very good though and service also very good. Everything we asked for, was provided in a timely manner and when we didn’t finish our bottle of wine, the waiter brought us clean glasses to take back to the room to finish our bottle of wine! The thing that really impressed us– was the next morning when we went to leave our hotel room, we had a note card from our server thanking us for coming to the restaurant and hoping we enjoyed our meal, wine and service. I’ve NEVER received a thank you card from a hotel restaurant before– so that stuck with me. In fact, I kept the note card so that I would remember the name of the restaurant and be able to write this review– even if I am a month late! :)

I am so excited to say, this is not your typical hotel restaurant!!! The hotel has been completely renovated, so when you walk in to the lobby, you will think you are in a cool South Beach location. The restaurant /bar is located in the hotel lobby, very hip colors, lots of plasma TVs throughout offering sports & news, great lounge music, hip ambiance — A New Look for an Airport Property! The cuisine is a cross between seafood with a latin flare!
