Stopped here on a whim for coffee, a quick breakfast before heading to key west and its was delicious. I enjoyed my first café cubano and the cuban pastry with ham and cheese. I will certainly try to return on my next visit to Miami.

Omg this place used to be amazing for like 12 years they had the best cuban bread and café con leche in Miami also their pizza pastel was to die for but within the last year, food quality and service has declined tremendously. The staff is beyond rude, like when you order they are bothered by the request. The second to last i was here, i ordered by phone scrambled eggs with ham, the entire oil/butter was inside the food. of course, i threw it away. Today i go and the eggs and ham have absolutely no flavor seasoning not even a tad of salt. This is really the last time i go here, what a shame this bakery has gone downhill.

I was a long time patron of the Cheo’s when the original owners were there. Very nice people, sometimes Cheo himself would come out from the back to help you if needed. I do not know the new owners but am not a fan. Their products continue to be of good quality and taste however their service of horrible, rude personnel. Aside from the rudeness what bothers me the most and why I stopped going to Cheo’s is the lack of products sometimes. On several occasions, specifically 4 times and at different times of the day, I would come by to purchase something and they would be out, there answer was always the same, «If you don’t mind waiting 15 minutes we will make them for you.» Actually, yes I do mind, I didn’t come here to wait for anything to be made. It is expected to be there just like in any other bakery in town. Go to any bakery in the immediate area at any given time and they are stocked with everything. I suppose the new owners don’t want to throw a couple of croquetas away at the end of the day. But for that they have lost faithful patron and I know that I’m not alone. Proof is there every Sat/Sun morning when I drive by and there are parking spots available when everyone else is packed.

Casa Cheo is one of the best bakeries in Miami. Ive done my baby shower cake with them and now my daughters birthday cake. They have great service and they take so much time with you when you are placing your order. Not to say how great their pastries are and their cuban bread is amazing. They also have great prices for parties. I recommend this place to everyone
