Omg! This park was so very scary! Perhaps it’s because I came to early on a weekday, am not sure but it was open and no one was their to greet you. The water faucets were rusty and the maps look old and freaky . The nature walk itself is not so bad, well you just see a bunch of trees some squirrels and that’s about it . I didn’t really like this place reminded me of some freaky scary movie where we end up being captured and tortured :-0 . Really don’t recommend coming by yourselves . 2 very freaky scary never coming here again stars.

I used this park for the first time for a clients photo shoot. I live in the area and even had my son’s first birthday party here. Gorgeous park. Friendly staff. Quiet area to enjoy, explore, and play. Nature trail is beautiful. Great for photos! If you want to take pictures here I am a local photographer right around the corner from this park. I am reviewing the night hike. The night hike happens about twice a month. It is $ 6 per person. You arrive around 7 p.m. The park leader takes you into a room where they explain what kinds of animals you might see. They show you pictures of different kinds of owls and play the sounds that they make. They ask that you take your own flashlight since the woods are quite dark. After you’ve been informed not to flash light directly at the owls you go into the woods. A group of about 20 shuts off their flashlights in the middle of the woods and you can only hear crickets. There were plenty of small children in my group and they were very good about being quiet. Everyone was excited. We saw two tiny owls, about 6 inches. They were adorable. We also saw bunnies! After we are done seeing the owls, we walked back to park visitor center and the park leader started a fire. We made s’mores(You have to bring marshmallows yourself). The park leader told a story which all the kids loved. All in all it was a great experience. I recommend for people of all ages!
