this place definitely takes itself pretty freakin seriously. which makes it a little less fun for someone who likes but isn’t obsessed with wine. the tasting bar is a beyond awesome concept where you buy a little charge card that you can swipe at the wine dispensers. the price however was not what i would have liked. the tastings cost as much as a glass of wine elsewhere but they were only supposed to be half a glass. i skipped it. my friends and i ordered a few bottles which all turned out great. especially an affordable reisling that didn’t seem like it was what we ordered(we picked something described as like a reisling) but was really tasty. i guess you just have to ask for it. but the confusion, slowness, language barrier of the service did seem to be a recurring theme. too bad. maybe i’ll add a star if i ever try the food.
