amazing Peruvian food, the trio platter is the best way to try all types of food. the only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because THESERVICEISTERRIBLE, SARCASTICEYEROLLINGWAITRESSES.

Best Peruvian restaurant in Doral and one of the top five in Miami. The Ceviche is always fresh, and each and every plate is cooked with care and to perfection. They have always a special called«trio» you can choose up to 3 little dishes for just $ 13. Cannot beat that deal. Chaufa, Jalea and some very typical dishes are made with the original recipe. Not to mention the quality of the food is outstanding. The best dish in my opinion is Pescado a la Cevichino, and for my girlfriend the ceviche.

Every Friday all the employees at the company I work for(10 – 12 people depending on meetings) go as a group to eat together. It’s a nice way to get out of the office after a long week of work. This is by far the worst place we’ve stepped into during the last 1 ½+ years. First, the only positive: the food was decent to good depending on the dish. My chicken was ok but my coworker’s Lomo Saltado was very good. But other than that it was a terrible experience. The service was horrendous. The waitress immediately started with the excuse of not being able to split checks. No one asked for our drink order, which is weird considering that’s money out of their pocket. Some people eventually ordered orange juice after noticing they squeezed it fresh at the counter but when asked how much long it would take to get their juice the waitress rudely responded the Latin equivalent of «its around». Like the wait for juice, the wait for food was ridiculous. Despite being a big group we’ve never had to wait so long for meals. It wasn’t a case of the restaurant waiting to bring out all the food at once either. Plates trickled in one or two at a time with so much separation that one member of our group hadn’t received his food even after everyone else was done eating. Why? Because the waitress never put his order in in the first place. We heard her yelling to the cook after we asked her where it was. The owner eventually came out and spoke to us. Very friendly person but blamed the wait on the size of our group. And that excuse might have flown if it weren’t for the fact that another table of only two people had the same problem with wait time. They had actually gotten up and told the waitress to forget their food since they had to return to work.(its worth noting is that another table of two arrived later than they did and had already received their food). He told us that big groups should call in orders first so he can get the food started. A valid point but if you can’t handle large groups of walk-ins then make that known before the large group sits down. After asking for our checks we were in for another long wait. Eventually one person offered to put it all on his card so most of us could get back to work. The group with the person who payed returned to the office another full twenty minutes after everyone else arrived(this place is less than a few minutes away from the office by car). Per his story, the first check he received had four more dishes of ceviche charged to it than were ordered. The waitress corrected her mistake but the new check had $ 65 in extra mandatory gratuity. The waitress again used the excuse that so many checks caused the problem. Needless to say this is the first place in all of Doral that we have unanimously decided is no longer an option for our weekly Friday company outtings.

Love this place! This gem is in a shopping center that looks a little sketchy but worth it. We ordered 2 orders of chorros a la chalaca basically mussels with a salsa on top. Such a great appetizer. Then I ordered the sampler dish. I got arroz con mariscos, sopa de mariscos and ceviche de pescado. The soup and rice was amazing but not so much the ceviche it could’ve used a little more seasoning. But over all and great meal and it’s at a great price

Unfortunately, this place was a disappointment. We ordered the ceviche, papa a la huancaina and arroz chaufa. Only the papa a la huancaina was decent. The sauce was tasty and the portion generous. The ceviche was not good. It was bland and the cancha was stale. The arroz chaufa tasted like fried rice from any Chinese restaurant. Nothing special. Prices are on the high side, too considering the quality of food. Service was good, but the food needs major improvement.

Best Peruvian food since decades … I will be very specific about this place In the heart of Doral outside Miami, this is the real Miami with real people and a nice Latino neighborhood 2 people in this place are dedicated and put a lot of LOVE in all the dishes they create The first one is the owner: «Mr Oscar Li «a real Chinese Peruvian, sweet person, lovely as hell, he loves what he does and he does it best The second one is a young girl: «Angie«a sweet, shy and very polite little Peruvian girl with Japanese descendants who lived many many years in Japan, she’s cooking like Mr Li with her touch of course Those 2 masters, Mr Li and Angie, knows how to cook Peruvian dishes at almost perfection Ceviche, jalea, rice with seafood«arroz con mariscos» just to mention a few … And ALL the dishes in the menu are PERFECT Cooked with L.O.V.E with amazing taste, the freshest ingredients, served perfectly and generously And I’m Not even Latino, i’m French God damn !!! Ones you try this place and if you have a little knowledge and a little taste you will understand that nobody jokes in here !! Service is good with smily waitresses, the place is quiet, big and nice music not too loud, tv and everything to make you feel at home Prices are amazing cheap for this kind of quality, Conclusion: GODS bless this little restaurant and all the people working inside Deserve an «étoile Michelin» like few other places in Miami dade In Cevichino you feel HOME

This is one of the best hidden spots for peruvian food. The Ceviche is one of the best in Miami. I tried Parihuela and it just as good as the ceviche. The chef/owner even go each table to chat with patrons and get feedback. For sure this was going to be a favorite of mine from now on.

I am so glad that the chef has opened his own restaurant. The food here is like heaven and the night we ate there we ordered a variety of dishes. All these dishes earned five stars from me; duck w/rice, jalea, arroz con mariscos, arroz chaufa de mariscos, and ceviche. I wish I could go back soon!

This restaurant is in a shopping plaza in the Doral area. You’d never think such amazing food would exist in a hidden ‘gem’ like this one. A colleague who is friends with the chef/owner invited me. All food is made to order, and the ingredients are fresh/obtained every day(from what he told me). The ceviche is absolutely amazing. One portion feeds one as a main course. I’d suggest sharing so that you try different plates. Peruvian cuisine diverse, so look at around and get adventurous. I will say this: everything that we ate was/tasted: fresh, delicious, and yummy. I can’t wait to be back. It is definitely a great choice for the bi-weekly/monthly rotation.
