Mall food court… We expect decent food and cheapness when dining in malls. The food selection in this mall is not big infact you have 3 Chinese stalls, and a Japanese stall, So u know competition is tight. I got the lunch special with two sides and chicken entre for $ 5.99, heck yeah I thought, add a can of soda and BAM my total jumped to $ 8ish. Talk about being cheap, sheesh. Anyway, bourbon chicken tasted good, not the best, at least it was not dried. Their spicy chicken however was kinda soggy. Stay away from that. Fried rice was OK. I also got their salad for a side and that was OK. Love the cucumber mixed with diced tomatoes and onions but the sauce that they mixed it with could have been better.

What do you really expect when you eat at one of these places? You get the bourbon chicken and hope that there’s not too much fat clinging to the chopped up thigh pieces soaking in the ubiquitous sweet sauce. Don’t set your hopes to high and you won’t be disappointed when you eat here.

I can’t tell the difference between all of these cajun chicken palaces at food courts. But for 5.49… what can you expect?

So of course when you are shopping you get pretty darn hungry and we definitely were. After wandering around trying to figure out what we wanted we chose Chao because they had that Burbon Chicken my daughter loves. I had a combo with spicy Chicken that had loads of veggies(a plus in my book) and had it with the steamed veggie side. Ok this food is what it is. mall food. No more than that and for $ 5.75 a plate full of food is A-OK in my book. Next time, however I will try something else.
