I’m very disappointed in the little bit of chicken they serve. After all, it is named Chicken kitchen!

I love Chicken Kitchen. Usually the food is great. This is my first time at this location and not only was my food cold, but the old man(manager) has absolutely horrible service. He needs to learn the definition of customer service. I will never return to this location. I hope the owner reads these reviews and does something about this grumpy old man!!!

Staff serving food was not wearing gloves. The manager was complaining of a sore throat while coughing everywhere. Staff was not familiar with items on the menu. Bad experience over all

I’ve been going there for years but never again. The management staff is extremely cheap with their chicken servings and this particular location has decided to cut the coupons at the bottom of its menus in order not to have customers present a discounted meal. Mind you the manager will tell you«oh because it’s expired» which is false. The receipts that print out after every transaction on Mon-Fri will have a 20% off meal on weekends only. The management staff on several occasions will crumple up the discount receipt as to not give it to the customer for future use. This place is almost never clean with food and garbage on the floor and I always see at least 4 – 5 associates at one time. When you ask them for others sauces besides the yellow curry they look at you like it’s a problem. Most customers might not realize what’s happening but pay attention next time and see how they run this place. I have called to complain but the number does not work, that is a horrible business model.

So tired of going here and they don’t have CHICKEN! My gosh your a CHICKEN restaurant how do you run out of Chicken at 6:00 in the evening ??? YES they have the breast for their OVER prices chop chops but forget getting pieces of chicken, chances are they won’t have it! If you eat in the sauces are a free for all take as much as you want! But get it to go, nope one little 2 oz cup is all you get! Want more, pay up! Employees speak very little English, are NOR friendly and they turn over more often then I change my socks! If you want good Chicken Kitchen go to the one in Pinecrest!

I seriously hate the fact that at EVERYCHICKENKITCHEN in Miami cheaps out on the amount of chicken they serve you. It is unjustified to charge $ 8 – 9 for a chop-chop and give less than a quarter of the chicken for that meal. That used to never be like that. The fact that this has been happening for the last few years is the primary reason why I choose to go to EVERY competitor to chicken kitchen. You pay the same prices but receive double the chicken. Also, I tried to go to the corporate website to log a complaint regarding the poor serving size relevant to the entire meal and price, and the section where you contact someone from corporate is BLOCKED!!! That is beyond horrible for business practice. Especially for an industry that caters to the public, if you want to remain the best you have to listen to what your clientele has to say in order to improve as a franchise. I WILLNEVEREAT at chicken kitchen again as long as this pathetic serving size of chicken remains in effect. I URGE everyone to look into Natural Chicken Grill, Chipotle, 3 Chefs and a Chicken as better alternatives. And trust me you won’t be disappointed with any of these. Hell even Pollo Tropical is a much better option.

Chicken Kitchen used to be my former go-to place for healthy fast food and grilled chicken. I used to think that they were the best and healthiest fast food option… until I discovered Pollo Tropical. Sorry Chicken Kitchen, but compared to Pollo, your chicken is rather bland and under-seasoned. I came by for the nostalgic feel, and the fact I was already in the strip mall shopping for school supplies at Payless, as well as Office Depot afterwards, but this was just a reminder as to why I prefer Pollo(which not only offers the mustard curry sauce, but other sauce options). The food is healthy and prices are quite reasonable. I remember Chicken Kitchen using lemon(and perhaps thyme?) some years ago to season their chicken. They should consider going back to that recipe, because I remember the chicken being more flavorful, unless this location just doesn’t season it as well as the Suniland location. As someone else mentioned, portions seem to be getting smaller too. I ended up buying the large carb-free chop chop, and I got my daughter a small deluxe, but years ago, the small deluxe was piled up so high, you could split it in half. Not anymore. Again, this may be location-based. I will try another location and update this review if necessary.

I’ve returned numerous times since my last review and they seem to have gotten the odor problem under control! now back to being my go to chicken kitchen spot again!

so bad, don’t bother trying it. I observed the serving staff serve rice, chicken, lettuce, cheese and tomatoes with the same serving utensil, cross contamination is inevitable here! I told the manager, he never fixed the issue. I was there for about a half hour with my family, and saw the serving staff continue to do the same thing with EVERY plate of food. If you have allergies, you need to know they are careless and reckless, and quite frankly do not care. Their management was very nonchalant about fixing the issue. I have been back since that day, saw the same staff member doing the same thing and immediately left.

The chicken was good, the sides not so good — I’m not one to ever add salt to any food but for the first time in a very long time, I had to seek the salt. Yes, I understand it’s healthy food but can we use healthy spices & herbs? Regardless, I will be back as the price for the amount of food you get was very fair(ate twice out of one meal). Also, as you probably know when you eat healthy… the taste is somewhat irrelevant and 9 out of 10 times, I’m just looking to fuel up to keep me going — I will gladly add some salt. If you are careful what you eat, check this place out, it’s A-Ok.

Their curry mustard sauce is so good, they get away with charging 50 cents for additional ones. Fast food, that is good for you. I’m sure some would argue that they don’t even count as fast food. You just can’t beat a deluxe chop-chop with cheese. Get a side of balsamic tomatoes, and you’re complete.

This is one of those places that you will continue to eat it even though it gives you figurative diarrhea. I never felt so much more like a cow(who regurgitates, which cows do) in my life than when I eat their meals. I always throw too much curry and then decide that it’s best to kill myself for acting like a morbidly obese man. Soon or later 600 pounds– falling and too fat to get up.

Chicken Kitchen makes decent food. The majority of the dishes are comprised of rice and chicken. They just change up the accompanying flavors and toppings for flare. They also offer salads, wraps, and pita pockets. The mustard-curry sauce is an original and incredibly tasty. My all time favorite is the small original chop-chop with mustard curry and barbecue sauce. Try it sometime! I do feel they have downsized their portions. A small used to be enough to feed two people. A large could feed a small family. Now, a small is appropriately sized for one person.

Here’s an old favorite. We used to frequent the shop in Suniland quite often in high school. For some unknown reason, over the last couple of… years, since H.S. it had fallen off of my radar. We popped in over the weekend for take-out. It’s quick, healthy and can last over several meals. Take that Jared!
