What happened to this place? I remember when this was my favorite buffet! Food is hit or miss. Some things were good but most were not. Food tastes like its been sitting a long time. I was there over an hour and only saw one item get replaced. Please China Buffet, lets go back to how things use to be.

Me and my homie came here had some food it did not look fresh, place smelled funny. As I ate I was like OK this is warm but not hot course cause heat lamps. But proceed to eat cause of course I paid for it. Hour later was throwing the food back up. Never coming here again. At least the freshest thing was the soda fountain with the drinks.

Not typically a fan of these types of places but for the price, I gave in. The hostess was rude, waitresses are nice enough. Wish I had read the reviews before we sat down to eat! There’s a large selection of food which looks ok but left me with a truly sick feeling to my stomach for hours afterward. The place is REALLY dirty. There was a funky smell throughout and it smelled like someone urinated in the corner near the table where we sat. I wouldn’t come back even if they paid me to eat here.

Used to come here with my coworkers and have great lunch. Today I met up with my family for a quick lunch and as soon as we sat down a roach ran across the table. I’ll never spend a dime here again. Disgusting. I don’t know if it’s due to new ownership or lazy staff but this place is gross now. On our way out I mentioned to the staff that a roach crawled across our table and it didn’t seem to bring any shock to the poor girl’s face.

The food are cold and sushi are too dry. Not recommend this place. The Manager’s bad attitude just made me don’t want to go to CHINABUFFET anymore!!!

should actually be a zero star. This place is disgusting. Roaches around food area and sushi is old and dry. When advice employee, she didn’t care. Owner is also extremely rude. Will report to Dade County and have them inspected and hopefully shut them down.

It was really disgusting to see a roach crawl on the floor, and towards the food area. If that’s how the food area is, I don’t want to see how the kitchen is. It is not a place I want to come again. The restroom had a really funky smell and it seem more like they don’t put effort to keep any good standard for hygiene. The price is good for a Buffet, but the quality of the food was bad, my friend almost threw up after tasting the meat which was more like expired. I came out from that restaurant disgusted. From the entrance, to the dining area with roaches, to the restroom with lower than minimum hygiene.

I want to give it two stars because the hostess and waitress were overly nice, but man was this place terrible. I mean, for $ 8 including tax and tip, I got my money’s worth… But I won’t return unless I’m on the tightest of budgets. One thing that grossed me out… Although I’m not entirely sure, I think that the hibachi chef put the cooked meat right back on to the plate that the customer brought the raw stuff on. I figured the customer couldn’t be that dumb, but I only turned for a second and didn’t see any new plates… Obviously, I made sure to specify to the chef that I brought a separate plate for the cooked food. Speaking of hibachi, dude mucked that up really bad. I’m pretty sure that any 5 year old who has visited Benihana could do a better job of running that station. He got the egg, cracked it on the hot surface, and proceeded to burn the shit out of it without even scrambling it.

This place was closed and remodeled — re=opened as China buffet(other chinese buffete were here before) they cut out a lot of items from the previous buffets, not too many interesting things here, Hibachi section is ok, went to sit and ordered some hot tea, reached to get some sugar and out comes a creepy crawler !!! Ok that’s it, Sayonara

Tottering between 1 ½ and 2 stars. Formerly occupied by King Buffet and then Ookie, Buffet which I enjoyed… but While Ookie was Japanese, this place is(badly) Americanized Chinese. First isle had individual whole most unappetizing fish with a chunk out, resembling the ravages of leprosy. Wandered around and around putting little on my plate. Lots of bagged french fries, potato salad, cold slaw, pizza, greasy potato chunks, Totally nuked steamship round of beef, overly fried chicken, garlic bread, Pleistocene era chicken nuggets, Petrified tooth breaking chicken legs swimming in barbecue sauce. Inexplicably beets! Sparse, unidentified and uninteresting sushi rolls, At the grill station area, saw a man pile a bunch of raw shrimp, and raw chicken on his plate and proceed to his table ignoring the frantically waving grill chef who was attempting to direct him over, to no avail, to have his food cooked. Pleasant waitresses but they never brought water or asked about tea or soda refills or noticed and removed empty plates. in fact, I never saw them at all till the end when we got a bill. I did like the mini cherry-stone clams in some kinda sauce and well cooked if a bit greasy green beans and canned but tasty button mushrooms… but that was really about all… and won ton soup sounded good but all won tons had previously disappeared and were never replaced while I was there Really good watermelon chunks and the jello was fresh and yummy! Just…dismal… although NOT as awful as China Apple or 94th Aero –Squadron Buffets.(see my reviews). For sure a case of quantity well exceeding quality. no reason to go out of your way to go here. I won’t, again. It IS cheap though…2 dinners with tax didn’t hit even $ 20.

Your run of the mill typical run of the mill Chinese buffet that offers sushi and hibachi. I would eat either. Everything is just gross. Service was crappy also. The waitress didn’t speak English not surprising. I witnessed a lady that put food in a zip lock in her purse and say she didn’t like the food and because of the language barrier left without paying. In the back part of the restaurant it looked like the owner had a day care back there and the kids were loud an rowdy and running everywhere! Save your money, time and stomachs!

Meh, it’s a Chinese buffet which replaced another Chinese Buffet(Ookie) which had replaced yet another Chinese Buffet. Of the 3, I prefer Ookie. They changed the layout and added a large chandelier. I guess to try to fancify it a bit. But in the end, it is what it is. I’m not a fan of these types of buffets, but my husband is. So sometimes I give in and agree to go. Usually when I’m not really hungry, or craving anything, or there are absolutely no other options. Or, in this case, when Mercury is in retrograde! ;-) They have about 6 buffet tables, a sushi area and a hibachi grill. $ 5.99 for lunch & $ 7.99 for dinner. The food is typical Chinese buffet type food including some American options. Basic, nothing outstanding. The girls that clear your plates and refill your drinks are nice and efficient. The dude at the hibachi needs a little attitude adjustment though.
