The Chocolate and Art Show Miami definitely missed the mark. The venue, Wynwood Warehouse Project, was pretty hip. A great place to gather artists and admirers and douse them with art and chocolate. Unfortunately, there really wasn’t much to it. Once we got through the gate there was a live band playing the front steps. There was one food truck slinging some handibles. Inside there was a large room of art on display. All very cool and most for sale. There were a number of the creators on hand to talk about their works. Two people were being body painted. One was a man and one was a woman. So there was eye-candy for all. The chocolate was in the form of fountains in the center of the room. Vanilla wafers etc were there for you to run under the stream. To the side a kitchen-type area cooking up a few more things and a beer seller. And that was it… Took about 30 minutes to take it all in. It was hot inside, so we left. Maybe things got roaring after midnight… But by then we were onto the next in Wynwood.
