I’ve been meaning to come to this place since their bright yellow sign showed up just a couple blocks from my home. I finally visited for a late breakfast one weekday and was so happy I did! Small and clean, but a little too warm, this place is cheap and unpretentious. The two people working were very nice and attentive. I had the no. 1 — 2 eggs, ham, cheese, tostadas, and café con leche — for $ 3.50. It also includes a big and delicious chunk of avocado which I’m so used to having to pay extra for, that the place instantly got an extra star from me. The café con leche is the best I’ve had north of downtown(besides the one I make of course…). I also ordered pupusas to go — you get 3 for $ 4.99. If you’ve never had a pupusa(which I hadn’t until recently when a friend made them, why are they so hard to find?) I highly suggest you visit and order them here. Also on the menu are salads, some argentinian-inspired meat dishes, and sandwiches, including choripan. Each day they have a list of specials like paella, grilled chicken breast, ribs, that include two side dishes. These specials range in price from $ 5.25 to $ 10.99(for a Parrilla Argentina). My husband had one of the specials one day and portions were huge. This is by far the best deal around here — delicious, homemade food at cheap prices.
