I highly recommend Claud’s Makeup Corner. Claudia is a makeup artist who does makeup for weddings, formals, and other events. She is a talented, smart professional, and has a keen aesthetic sense of what works for each person and each situation. She will travel to your location to do your makeup, and she brings all the necessary equipment for the process. Claudia did my wedding makeup and she did a fantastic job. She listened carefully to what I wanted, studied my face to figure out precisely how to highlight various features, and even took me a little bit further in terms of makeup style. I never knew I could really wear makeup, but Claudia showed me how different accents could emphasize my features to their fullest advantage. She is also a wealth of knowledge for what works in various situations. Initially, I was concerned that I had too much on, probably because I never wear makeup and am not used to it! But she explained that in wedding photos, it wouldn’t look that way. She also explained that as the day went on, the makeup would wear off naturally, so it would still look pretty at the end of the day. She was absolutely right on both counts! I got our wedding photos back, and the makeup does not look overdone at all. In fact, it’s perfect – just the right amount of fanciness and glamour that complemented my hair, jewelry, and wedding dress. And at the end of the day, even though the makeup had worn off a bit, it still looked good.
The day of the wedding was crazy busy, as these things always are, but Claudia was calm and focused, and helped me stay calm and focused too. She was completely professional, listened carefully to all my comments, and was very friendly. I can’t rave enough about the great service she provided.
