I see why they closed… Sorry, I would not have returned. The salad came right out of a bag. The sides tasted similiarly

Restaurant is closed down. What started out as a brick and mortar location for the popular food truck Passion BBQ eventually turned into a bad partnership that eventually led to Passion BBQ leaving the restaurant and Craft Bar & Q trying a revamped menu that didn’t take off. Luckily, Passion BBQ is still on the road and focusing on the same neighborhood. So, your BBQ fix can still be gotten.

I ate here once before. The food was decent and the prices were not too bad. I really enjoyed the combination of sauces they provided and they also had a large variety of local craft beers. Nice place to watch a game and have a quick bite to eat, very sports bar ish feel.

3 stars for good craft beer selection, good service, and big portions. But, if you are serious about BBQ, don’t come to this place. Go over to Pride & Joy, ½ mile away. The BBQ just isn’t that great here. Passable but not great. The brisket tastes like it was very lightly smoked and mostly cooked in the oven with au jus and onions. And I wasn’t a big fan of any of the 5 sauces they make. If you are looking for a place with good sandwiches/burgers and a good craft beer selection, come here. These things Craft does well. But skip the BBQ.

Not overly impressed with the two items I had for dinner. Keep in mind it was a small sample of what this places has to offer but the burger was something they are supposed to be known for. The alligator burger was simple, not bad, but I wouldn’t recommend it. In short, I’ll pay another buck for higher quality. Not the general basic ingredients from the local store. The paddy itself wasn’t bad, I assume you are paying for it and nothing else. As for the beer, standard east coast Florida specials.

Was looking for some BBQ in the Wynwood area. Stumbled upon this little place. First of all the had a nice selection of craft beers and the had Wynwood La Rubia which is one of my faves. They brought some crunchy tortilla chips to the table along with the BBQ sauce collection. Hurricane Haim and the Doctor’s Orders were our favs. We ordered corn muffins which were very dry. For lunch we had the pulled pork platter and the brisket platter and added a side of chipotle baked beans. The pulled pork with apple chutney was good but the star of the dish was the blue cheese coleslaw. It was amazing. The brisket was tender and the cheesy mashed potatoes were a hit. Service was friendly and prompt even though there was only one person on the floor. If I’m in the neighborhood I’d stop in again.

Our favorite bbq place close to our home! Good for watching sports, they have a good selection of beer & delicious food! Their chef is on point and he makes burgers with love! It’s really so, guys! Just try them! Bar is very comfortable & bright. What we also love is there never crowded here, so we can enjoy our evening in cozy atmosphere. We visit this place at least once a week

We walked over to this nice little local place after reading the reviews on Unilocal and quite excited for the truffle mac and cheese. Upon arrival we were greeted by very friendly staff and our server let us know in advance what they were out of and any recommendations. We ordered a vegetarian quesadilla and the brisket burger with a side of five cheese Mac and cheese(please note there is no more truffle Mac in the menu!) as well as a «La Rubia» blonde ale which we never received. After ordering, our server brought us a selection of sauces with spoons to sample them. I personally believe that a great sauce makes a great dish. Their«waxman heat» sauce was waaaayyy too watery. They also had a sauce made with Dr. pepper which was not bad. As far as the rest of the sauces, they did not accompany our dishes very well. Brisket burger: first off, the bun was served cold. This is a big no-no for me. I was expecting a smokey saucey burger with tons of flavor and was highly disappointed. And I’m sorry but the Mac and cheese was terrible; very bland. Veggie quesadillas: these were quite pleasant and enjoyed the texture. It had fresh veggies and the Brussels sprouts gave it a nice crunch to the inside. It wasn’t super oily either which is a thumbs up. Overall, food was not that great, but they made up with the service and nice selection of craft beers on the menu. Our server never brought us our beers but maybe we will go back only to try the beers.

The food is ok. The flavors ultimately work if you order well but the presentation is somewhat lacking. Reminds me of something you’d get from a drive through. Harsh? Maybe. If it was a $ 5 sandwich I prob won’t care but my little pork sandwich was a sad sight. Regardless the vibe here is awesome. I always meet good ppl so even though it’s low on my rotation for lunch spots, I always look forward to good conversation and a cold beer when I have some time to chill in the middle of the day. Wednesday’s are bomb for $ 3 pints of la rubia.

Love this place! Had the brisket with collard greens and Gouda mashed potatoes. Food was excellent! Beer selection was very extensive, trued 3 – 4 before settling on a German pilsner. The bartender was super nice and chatted me up. The space is nice. I like the cement bar. If I weren’t moving I’d be a regular here. I’m kicking myself for not trying this sooner!

I’ve loved this place since it opened because it’s in the neighborhood. Today they brought it to a new level. The chef released a new menu that is so delicious! BBQ with a savory twist. Come check out the bar and the new menu!

I give this place 2 stars for their beer selection and good service. They have a ton of good beers to pick from and they aren’t super expensive. The service was also good. My boyfriend and I sat at the bar and the 2 bartenders working that night were very friendly and attentive without being overbearing. As for the food, neither of us were so crazy about it. We ordered 2 different appetizers and they were out of both, so we settled on the chili and cornbread. Although we ordered it as an appetizer, it came out with our entrees(took about 30 minutes) and it was okay, nothing special. For an entrée I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with a side of truffle mac & cheese. The pork was kind of bland and kind of dry. The mac & cheese was also pretty plain tasting and didn’t taste like truffle. Overall, neither of us were impressed with the food we ordered.

The beer selection is good altho a little pricey especially since it is downtown Miami and not South Beach. We had the Nutella cheesecake along with St Peter’s Crème Stout. Both were delicious. We were a little disappointed it was the only stout they had tho. I really hope this place survives but at 9:30 pm on a Saturday it was empty. The location may be a detriment.

I went to this place for a quick lunch. I wasn’t expecting much for the place… but to my surprise the food was very good. We ordered The Pagano Sandwich(burger topped with brisket) and The Dirty Dog(hot dog cooked with brisket fat — it also have a pineapple slaw) both were very good and tasty. The truffled Mac & Cheese was delicious! They promote their special sauces but I was not impressed by the taste. Oh! for dessert we had the Chocolate Bacon brownie with vanilla ice cream… it was really yummy!

Come here for brunch on Saturday. The service was excellent, hence the two stars. The beer selection looked good, but they were out of several beers on the menu. We ordered some Nachos and a salad. The salad was decent, but the nacos were delivered cold, with chilli straight from the fridge and the cheese wasn’t melted. I sent them back and they were delivered with warm chilli, but still not melted cheese really. The pulled pork in the salad was also ice cold. This place needs work on the food.

I mean, compared to the occupants of a few years ago(I won’t name names), that this place ATTHEVERYLEAST gets your order right earns it three stars in my book. The fourth star, well, Craft earned that pretty freaking easily, too. A) The food is great. I mean, GREAT. The pulled pork is tender and juicy, the truffle mac is like getting tickled with a feather(you’re not sure what this strange wonderful sensation that«truffle» really is, but you like it… yeah, you really dig it…), and the jalapeño cornbread is moist, toothsome, and kicks you in the face in all the right ways. B) The prices are more than fair for the amount of food you get, and if you make it for Happy Hour, forget it. You’ll need to be taken out and shot, because there’s no way you’re leaving of your own volition. C) The beer selection is vast and oh so glorious. D) The staff is always great. I mean, really great. Personable and accommodating, the girls behind the counter are always quick to strike up a conversation and shoot the ish with you between forkfuls of meat and long swigs of beer. I’m really glad this place opened up. The Wynwood-Edgewater area was in desperate need of another barbecue place. As an aside: considering that I crafted a review where I’m getting tickled by a feather and later going the way of Old Yeller, I won’t be at all offended if you never again read any of my reviews, but I very much hope you continue to do so. For really reals.

The hubby and I have made a point to try out a new spot each week. This past week we walked by the Craft Bar & Q being that it’s 3 blocks from our place. The first thing we noticed was the friendly neighborhood vibe. Great service and the staff is consistently offering beer advice and suggestions. We had a quick bite, the brisket nachos and the truffle mac and cheese. Delish! Needless to say we will be back. So glad there is a place like this so close to home.

The small plates at this new Wynwood restaurant combine two of my favorite tastes: sweet and spicy! I came into Craft Bar & Q after hearing about them on social media, and seeking a variety from my constant diet of Italian food. Based on what I ate, I think Wynwood has a new BBQ spot(and it’s not a chain restaurant!) For starters, service was very great. From a very enthusiastic greeting by a manager when I walked in, to detailed explanations of what was sweet and what was spicy, my dinner was made pleasant. Although I passed on it, I noticed him giving an adjacent table a great description on their beers. The chipotle baked beans is hot. as in spicy and delicious. The fire is subtle coming in but the heat lingers with the sweet for a while. It wouldn’t be a BBQ dinner if you didn’t have meat, and my choice for last night was the shredded chicken. The bun was a little bit bigger but soft and filled with meat. Of the four BBQ sauces, my favorite was the pomegranate BBQ sauce. Slightly tart, it provided balance from the baked beans. My only complaint was the parking, since I had to drive around a couple of times to find a spot on the street. Perhaps one or two spots in the building for customers? Otherwise maybe I’ll brave public transit sometime :)

These chaps(from the Passion BBQ food truck) just soft-opened, so this review is for their limited menu(will update when they have a full-open). First, these dudes are all very friendly. You can’t help but root for them. Second, the BBQ is spot on – I’d say either a little more meat on the current buns, or smaller/lighter buns, and it’s perfect. Third, they have very interesting, and very good, sauces, each named after the owners and their wives. Everything from pomegranate to vinegar to spicy to sweet. Fourth, they don’t have their final beer selection right now, but when they do, it’ll be one of the best craft beer options in town. And bonus points for being downstairs. Come on out and support these guys!
