Crust definitely one of the best hidden gems in town! If you drive too fast you’ll miss it, but it’s definitely worth the U-turn! The service is amazing. Klime & Anita, the owners, helped me every step of the way in planning my daughter’s graduation dinner. They exceeded my expectations, made the best suggestions, & ensured everything was just perfect. Anita’s charming personality & her staff’s great service made it a great experience. The restaurant is inviting & accommodating. The food was all delicious! Our party had a few appetizers, the pan fried mozzarella, their wonderful garlic rolls, the meatballs deliciously covered in ricotta cheese & surrounded by marinara sauce with a delicious combination of flavors, & the grilled octopus. Our entrees included the cheese pizza, the prosciutto, fig, & blue cheese pizza, the chicken parmesan which is large enough to share, the chicken & shrimp fettuccine, & the mahi mahi francese style. Nothing disappointed! We will definitely be back!

I had heard alot about this place and figured to give it a try. Dropping off my gf at the airport and not being far my day was here. Being an ex New Yorker, I was skeptical to say the least. I found parking right away and found out, they open at 5pm, so my being @4:50pm was good. The place is off the corner of Garcias, Sea Spice, etc. so parking may take a little doing or you can valet. I was greeted by the pretty host, who I know now as the owner. Excellent. I sat at the bar and was greeted and served by Viviane.again.excellent…I ordered the Calamari salad and boy was that good, 5 stars for that. Next up was my margarita pizza. and again really tasty and good. Probably the best Ive had in South Fla. My only gripes are the beer is served in 8.5 ounce bottles and not 12 or 16oz(small gripe).hours are everyday at 5pm. No lunch.(Small gripe).a little pricey. but way better then average quality I would say 4.5 stars but no halfs here. Im going back again.

This was a fabulous experience and absolutely worth the hour long drive we had to make in traffic to have it. An oddball shaped building(used to be a house in the 50’s) in a odd part of Miami, Crust was fantastic from the moment we gave the valet the keys. Didn’t have a reservation, although we will next time, but the owner made every effort to make us very comfortable, and she did. Chris was an excellent and attentive professional and did a fantastic job with our table even though we may have been a bit annoying. Started with the meatballs and caprese, the salad was nice but the meatballs were incredible. I love their gravy(sauce) and the meatballs were perfect. We had a pizza with sausage and onions and I’ll leave it in the heat to crisp it up a bit longer when I re-heat the half pie we had leftover, I liked it very much. You can taste superior ingredients and I’ve found the place I’ve been looking for since I’ve moved here. Highly recommend seeking this place out(and calling for a reservation).

Been wanting to visit this place for a month. Wish we would have come sooner. Staff is charming and friendly. Wine list is extensive. Menu has a good selection without it being too short or too extensive. When we walked in we were transported outside Miami, and when talking about a restaurant this is a very good thing. The building, décor and ambiance is cozy, bohemian and sophisticated. Anita has an amazing energy, our waitress Alex couldn’t be any more accommodating and sweet. In fact the entire staff has a contagious cheerfulness. We had a bacon and mushroom pizza and an arugula salad with blacked tuna. Both different and both very yummy, although tuna was a bit dry but still Delicious non the less. Pizza was fantastic. We had the house wine by the glass and couldn’t be happier with it. Definitely a go to for us for special occasion or when we just need to splurge without breaking the bank.

Amazing amazing service! I had my 2 kids with me and they were waited on wonderfully on our table. Mrs. Anita is a great host to her restaurant, she made us feel as if we were regulars. I had the pecan crusted trout, wife had the egg plant, mum had the mahi mahi… all spectacular. Have the limoncello cake and some coffee. When we visit Miami again we will come back.

Amazing! Service & food was hands down the best I’ve had in Miami in a year! Anita the owner is the sweetest person and I swear I never saw her not smiling. She was also lightning fast with anticipating the needs of guests, like she had a sixth sense. I wish more people in the service industry were like this. The food portions are so it. I ordered chicken parmesan which was delicious and could have fed 4 adults. The pizza was fresh and flavorful. My friend had he spaghetti and meatballs, which could feed 4 adults too and she didn’t even want to share it was so good! :P And I’m sorry for not getting a pic. By the time I thought about it I had dove into my plate. Great ambiance for a date night. At the same Token, I had a toddler and a baby with me and didn’t feel out of place. The only thing that was not the greatest was the valet guy. He wasn’t very personable. I know, I know, his job is to park your car not be super nice. He was just a little dry, complete opposite of the service you will find inside the restaurant. Other than that, Amazing. Amazing. Amazing.

Before I begin I’d like to mention that customer service at Crust is without a doubt 5STARS! From the owner to our servers Alex & Chris, the attention to detail was impeccable. The restaurant is very clean and the décor is very welcoming. Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, let’s move on to the food! I hate to say that I was a little disappointed. Italian food is among my favorites so when I see something on the menu I expect it to meet the standards of authentic Italian cuisine. I was very excited to try the Mahi Francaise, but it was very very different from the typical Francaise that I’ve eaten at countless Italian restaurants. My pasta was very dry, they definitely forgot the eggs, and the lemon sauce in my dish. Although the fish was good it wasn’t Francaise. She had the Chicken Piccata w/Basil Risotto which was delicious, but only one problem! ONIONS! We noticed that in both of our dishes they overloaded them with onions! The menu did not specify that neither of the dishes contained onions which was another disappointing moment. Onions should NEVER be a surprise ingredient in any dish, and it’s definitely NOT an ingredient in Mahi Francaise or Chicken Piccata. I would like to reiterate how wonderful the customer service was and how friendly everyone was. I doubt we’ll return which is unfortunate because everyone was a pleasure!

I must say that this was one of the best Italian food restaurants that we ever ate in. We were 5 people and everyone absolutely enjoyed their meal. The portions are large and very tasty. I had the seafood pasta and the sauce was to die for. The restaurant is very reasonably priced and you won’t have to rob a bank to eat there The owner greeted us when we came in with a huge smile on her face and came to check on us during the meal. She was highly involved at the restaurant, we saw her expediting, greeting, saying goodbye and checking on every table. When an owner is that involved it is no wonder that the place is successful. We HIGHLY recommend this place.

It would be a crime to give Crust anything less than 5 stars. So thankful to Unilocal for putting me on to this amazing restaurant that is located in a neighborhood which I rarely venture out to. Well, now I have a reason to make the trek over there. Crust is a dimly lit & moderately sized restaurant. The owner, a pretty lady is always standing at or near the door to greet you as you walk in. First thing I noticed about Crust was their fabulous wine list. They have a small menu with wines & beers by the glass, but the wine list with wines by bottles has a nice variety of all different kinds of wines at many price points. My favorites being the Sancerre or Albariño– so perfect. Crust serves Italian fare, and I highly recommend starting off with the garlic rolls. These garlic rolls are perfection, crispy exterior but soft and pillowy in the middle, with the perfect amount of garlic & cheese. Everything I have tried at this restaurant has been nothing short of amazing. For appetizers some of my favorites would be the meatballs, grilled octopus, and pan fried mozzarella. Salads are not to be missed either, I have tried both the Kale salad & the Cesar salad, they are equally delicious. If you are a party of two, I will warn you, their entrees are meant to be shared, the portions are ginormous ! It is easy to over order food. However, do not fret because they are just as great the next day, especially the pizza. Whatever you do, save a bit of room for some zeppolis. Do yourself a favor and check out Crust, it’s sure to please.

This place is so good that it makes me want to cry. As you know, my life mission is to eat as much pizza as possible. Crust was next on my list of pizza to conquer. The host and waitress were very attentive and nice. Since us Miamians are so used to bad service, it was really nice to visit a restaurant that actually cared about their customers. As for the food, it was heavenly. My group started out with an order of pan-fried mozzarella. It was just as good as it sounds. As for a meal I got a prosciutto pizza, and it was great. My friends got the spinach white pizza, and the meatball parmesan sub and they loved it as well. But, the real winner of the evening was the side of three cheese risotto. Don’t let the label of being a side make you think this is a small portion. The portion was more than enough for one person to eat on their own. The risotto was the best thing any of us ate that evening. Do yourself the favor, get the three cheese risotto.

We recently visited this restaurant in Miami Florida while on the way to the airport to travel to Mexico for our honeymoon. We were greeted by the owner immediately upon walking in. She asked if we had a reservation which we did not but she found a way to accommodate us anyhow right away. The garlic knots are delicious and we both ordered an entrée. My husband ordered the Spaghetti with meatballs and I ordered the chicken Parmesan but substituted the spaghetti for fettuccine Alfredo. Had we known the portion size was as big as it was we might have shared an entrée instead. The food was really good and we are more than satisfied but it was a shame to waste so much food as we couldn’t take it back with us. The owner was so sweet. She gave us a complimentary toast upon discovering we were newlyweds.

I have heard so many great things about this restaurant I am so happy I got to taste their food! The owners are so nice and welcoming. I suggest their meatball appetizer to get your tummy ready for more delicious food to come! We ordered a Hawaiian pizza. It was heaven on earth. It was a sweet and savory combination of love between ham and pineapple. I simply adore this restaurant. Do not leave without ordering dessert! If you don’t you will regret it!

I crave Italian food 24⁄7. This place satisfies all of those cravings. Plates are $ 15-$ 20 and pizzas are $ 10-$ 20 but don’t be alarmed. These portions are biggie sized! I ordered the chicken parmigiana which was enough to feed a family. This dish did not lack flavor and the chicken was crisp and juicy. No complaints at all. We also ordered garlic rolls for the table, flaky on the outside. My girlfriend ordered the Crust Pizza which was a recommendation from the waiter. It has blue cheese, fig and prosciutto. The combination of sweet, tang, crisp and creamy made for an amazing pizza. My table highly recommends this pizza. The best part of our experience was the service. Greeted by the owner at the front and she asked us for feedback upon leaving. The waiter gave us his favorite dishes and some best sellers. Water service was constant and meals came out quick(15 minutes give or take). It has a nice dim atmosphere with a few tvs. Highly recommend this corner pizza/Italian joint on the river.

Although there are clearly some amazing restaurants in Miami, one thing you don’t easily find is warm, friendly, and personal service. We were visiting from out of town and went with some friends who are local and had been before. We were immediately greeted as if we were family or long-lost friends(seriously) by the owner. We ordered garlic knots — hands-down one of my favorite breads I have ever had! My(infant) daughter ate three. {Side note: She also cheered when they brought the food, so the owner brought out more«baby rolls» for the kids. They are so genuinely caring and nice}. We also started with some meatballs which were tender and delicious and served with fresh ricotta(I die)… Each of us had our own pizza — I was so full I only tried mine. I had the funghi — cheesy and truffly and yummy :) We also had sides of pasta and roasted cauliflower. Everything was delicious and the service was prompt and polite. Our children were given stickers upon leaving. If I was local, this would be my pizza jam.

I am a sucker for Italian food & more specifically Chicken Parm. So when my dear foodie friend recommended Crust I knew I had to check it out. It was a Saturday night & the boyfriend & I had reservations for 6:45PM. We arrived about 20 minutes early & our table was ready. We were greeted by the owner who is such a doll! She is extremely friendly & involved with the customers. Our sever Pete was great too, he was attentive to all our needs & came by the table often. I started off with a glass of Pinot Grigio which was crisp and cold. For appetizer we had the fried mozzarella cheese which was by far one of the best I’ve had. The cheese was fresh and the breading around it had the perfect«crust». The marinara sauce was smooth with no chunks inside, my favorite. The chicken parmigiana was my main entrée, linguini smothered in tomato sauce with 3 chicken cutlets with more tomato sauce and cheese. It can definitely be shared with 2 if not 3 people, it’s HUGE. I’m a sauce girl but unfortunately I think they over did it with the tomato sauce when it comes to the Chicken Parm. The boyfriend had the linguini carbonara. It was very good and the sauce was rich and thick but not over powering. The prices at Crust were fair compared to the amount of food they serve. We will definitely be back to try the pizzas. They looked amazing!

Excelente!

White curtains and dim lights give an aura of exclusivity, a place where you need your best Armani or Zegna to eat at. But we all know the best meals are places where your fingers get messy, right? I enjoyed the best of both worlds at Crust this past Saturday dinner. I heard about Crust thru both Eater and a friend’s Unilocal bookmark and decided to stop by, contacting the restaurant thru Unilocal.Chef Klime confirmed, and was kind enough to adjust my reservation time later. Stepping inside, I was greeted by his lovely wife Anita and the Chef himself. Ed my server, as well as the other wait staff at nearby tables, we’re on point going around and checking. You know that attentive service will always get a high review out of me! The place feels like a large family dining room, with the cornices and decorations hung near the entrance(and during a tour I found out it was originally a house!), flat screen TV’s and wooden tables where I could begin to indulge. A glance of the menu shows the classic Italian comfort dishes, but with a gourmet touch. I started off with the house garlic rolls, and beef & turkey meatballs, served with marinara sauce and a nice ricotta dollop to cool off some of the spicy heat. I continued with my favorite type of pizza — Hawaiian, of course — made fancy with figs baked into the crust and augmented with extra red sauce. Continuing the fancy comfort banquet were their Chicken wings made with passion fruit sauce. I had asked for a side of «regular» buffalo sauce but left most of it untouched as I indulged the subtle sweetness of the fruit based sauce instead. I left portions of each plate untouched, in order to save space for my cup of lightly creamy Zabayon filled with blueberries and strawberries, as well as a latte. I was told they plan to expand with outside seating soon, since they opened recently and I’ll be able to bring my fur child to their terrace… and I plan too. I’ll even stop for pick up one of these days after work.
