Wow — the name says it all. This little consignment boutique looks like your wealthy eclectic Auntie’s dressing room! There’s such a crazy mix the vintage and not-so-vintage designer and the handcrafted jewelry, you just can’t seem to take it all in at first. But that’s okay, this is not a boutique that you want to rush through. This little shop is where you want to take time to browse through all the racks and shelves for… I’m not sure what… but, you’ll know when you find it.

I wandered into this little store with high hopes. I guess I was thinking it would be more of an antique shop(furniture, bookcases, random stuff, etc). It also looks much larger from the outside than it really is, which also added to my disappointment. There were clothes more than anything, and I’m not exactly a fan for purchasing vintage apparel. Though they did have an eclectic mix of clothes, so if that’s your thing you might want to stop in and check out their odds and ends of apparel and accessories. I will say that the inside is a feast for the eyes, lots of unique stuff that was at certainly interesting to look at.

no… not the john water’s movie… divine trash(in this case at least) is an awesome vintage boutique. like it’s neighbor(partner?maybe), the upper eastside garden, this little place is a hodge-podge of awesomeness. there’s black stuff, blue stuff, old stuff, new stuff. this one has a little star… ok, i’ll stop. point being, this place is very very cool. it’s like the vintage store i would have, if i had a vintage store(and no concept of clutter). quirky and very eclectic… the store houses everything and anything from clothing, to furniture, to art, to found objects, to you-name-its. some stuff is cheap and there’s some stuff that you’ll drop a few bills for its vintageness. and there’s even some new stuff… but all-in-all… fantastic! fyi…i don’t think they’re open on mondays.
