Domo Pollo

We will never understand the 4 stars that this restaurant has??? The name should be named DOOMED and not Domo !!
We reserved a table for 6 at 8.30 PM on New Years Eve, this was about a week ago.
The location was wonderful, close to the AA stadium and walking distance to bay and the restaurant looked inviting, fine dining style, modern and chick. The place was quite empty for a New Year’s Eve.
To our disappointment, it started directly when we sat down, a female server started handing out the menu which was a set menu for New Year’s eve where you choose a starter, main course and a dessert .We got first a little annoyed when the server took our drinks order like in a fast food restaurant (even they do a better job) stressed us .what do you want? and you the same… no .so what do you want? what? and gone.
Came to take food order, the same rushing us, we ordered starters and main courses and said we’ll wait to order our desserts. Had to tell her as well to calm down and don’t stress us and she said OK and left.
Then came our starters, my 2 daughters finished them before we adults and to our surprised the server came and took away their plates, we thought maybe to give them more space but then she came back right away with their main courses while we were still eating our starters??? This time I stood up and said STOP! that’s enough, told her off, told to take the 2 main course back and that she must wait for the rest of us to finished our starters!!! She unhappily did, I don’t think she understood that she’d done wrong and that it was more our fault.
Then, we asked for the manager and told him what’s been happening and wanted another server, we got a male server who was much better, more professional, but then when we ask for the wine list, it took 10 mins asking 2 other walking by servers before our server came back saying that they did not have a wine list??? And that the one they had has many bottles of wine that was out of stock!!! (on New Years Eve???)So they rather not show it!
He suggested a couple of bottles and we chose one, finished our dinner, had the dessert, paid the bill of over $ 800 with gratuity and left at 10.30 PM. So Disappointed!
We’ll never come back or recommend this restaurant to anyone !! Not Even To The Enemy!!!

Friendly service excellent food, we had provelleta and sweetbreads while the latter isnt something I am used to, it was very good. The Lomo parilla (filet mignon) was great, and mariscos excellent as well
