Beware!!! I saw this place on Ch. 7 news, they switched out a guys brand new tires for old bald ones and tried to get away with it until help me Howard (lawyer) took charge and they had to replace the tires!!!

My scooter arrive in Friday, I came in Monday to release it and they charge me for 5 days, even if the scooter was only 4. The rude lady first told me that the system was down and that I need to wait. I went Out and I explain the situation to one of the guys, who talk inside to her and with a big pain, worked out to released manually without waiting for the computer to work. NIce JOB, poor costumer service!!! ugly area

Si pudiese darle menos de una Estrella Lo haria… Me llevaron el carro en la tarde d hoy Cnd Llgo al Lugar me dicen q estan cerrado y cuando porfin me dejan entrar estan dos grueros y la secretaria gordita de la pantalla en la nariz tomando cerveza «corona» al final llgo de suerte un señor mayor q nos ayudo y rapido sin ningun tipo d documentacion nos entrego el carro… 20 min dsps Cnd vuelvo a usar mi carro no quiere cojer ningun cambio… Llamo a Downtown towing y Lo que da Es ASCO hblar con esa gente especialmente con la secretaria… Ahora llamo pregntando por un manager y el operador m dice q llame el lunes y pregnte por pepito… Este Lugar Es Lo peor son unos truqueros! Esta compañia usa a grueros en estados d embriaguez para levantar tu carro…

This place is a bunch of thieves. Not only did they (either the management or their drivers) steal my $ 3,000 watch and $ 300 sunglasses, they are making it virtually impossible to get my car released from the lot to be sent to the body shop. THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN IMMEDIATELY!!! They are modern day pirates and it is a shame and embarrassment that the Coral Gables Police Department has any sort of affiliation with them!!!
I thought my head-​on collision was the worst of the incident; that was the case until I had to deal with these CROOKS!!!

These people are thieves. If you ever have your car towed by them I do not care how small of value something is worth please mention it on the report or else they will steal everything in your car. If you are in an accident in Miami Florida eight times out of 10 your car may go to downtown towing which is on N. Miami Ave. the low lives will steal anything in your car. They are these with a capital T! If I could give them no star at all I would give them no star at all!!!

Unreal how these places try to scam insurance companies. Horrible! It’s enough we have to deal with our injured son & this place doesn’t want to release vehicle. What a shame they do this.

This is the most horrible, unprofessional towing company. They are thieves and their drivers are thieves. I do not know how they are still allowed to operate. My son was in an accident and his car had to be towed to the shop. This company was called by the Doral Police Department, he told me he could only accept cash or credit card, no checks. I unfortunately did not have the cash on me so I gave my credit card. Sure enough days later $ 100’s of dollars in unauthorized purchases. On top of that they charged me $ 10 extra because I paid with a credit card. The office personnel, the drivers, the management are all a bunch of thieves and scum bags.

They are masters of the rip off! Avoid these theifs at all cost! They are rude and they take great pleasure in cheating you out of your money. Also they expect you to have your vehicle registration with you when you pick up your car. It is just another way that they cause inconvenience and add up the daily storage fee. The FHP called them for me after being in an accident. Big mistake.

These people are thieves. After my car got totaled, I went to go pick up the belongings in the car, but since they weren’t my belongings I did not know what to look for as my boyfriend was the one driving the car at the time. After he got out of the hospital, we sorted through what I picked up and realized we had about $ 100 worth of scratch off winners missing along with a very expensive pair of jordan sneakers. After they «checked the cameras» they concluded that no one went through the car which is a lie! Beware of these people.

I had the utter misfortune of dealing with Downtown Towing while visiting my fiancée in Miami — they caused $ 1500 worth of damage to her Lexus, the proceeded to avoid us for months (I diligently called once a week for 2 months in an attempt as a former small business owner to give them a chance to make it right before going to the BBB) and then lied flat out to the BBB about the damage they caused — I had plenty of photos to prove my case and they still insisted on trying to avoid blame.
Here’s what happened: the tow driver did a blind tow (where they don’t get out of the car to set up the tow because they are lazy) and sent one of the forks straight through the front bumper, into the AC compressor/​radiator, etc and had the nerve to say (after the fact and in the BBB complaint) that we had hit a curb and caused that damage. Geez… get a hint guys! How exactly am I supposed to create a horizontal puncture straight through an upper area of the bumper by hitting the curb? Either way, the tow driver was rude and an eyesore (my attempt at humour despite the frustration here) and just about everyone else I spoke to at Downtown Towing was either impolite, abrasive, unhelpful or an awful combination of all of those.
I’m taking Downtown Towing to small claims soon… until then Unilocalers, avoid Downtown Towing like the bubonic plague — what a nightmare! This is seriously the epitomy of «shady towing company.»
