Dr. William B. Trattler

As a retired Optometrist I want to share my recommendation of William Trattler, MD. Professionally I was aware that Dr. Trattler was a gifted surgeon and highly respected amongst his peers. But what truly impressed me is his personal concern and caring for the patients he is treating. This is a skill not taught to doctors today.

I had cataract surgery done by Dr. Trattler in December. He had to do it over RK surgery that had been done 25 years earlier. Two docs would not do it but both recommended Dr. Trattler and they were right. Only negative is finding both parking and his office. Pretty confusing out there. However, well worth the minor inconvenience. I highly recommend him.

Today is the six month anniversary of my lasik eye surgery so I had my follow up appointment with Dr. Trattler this morning. As always he was an absolute gentleman and his staff were super friendly and thorough. I am seeing ²⁰⁄₁₅ in my left eye and ²⁰⁄₂₀ and still improving in my right. I have no dry eye, no halos, no starbursts or any other side effects from surgery. 100% success!
Yesterday, walking through with mall with a co-​worker we commented on a new store which was opening soon but she said she couldn’t read what the sign said from the other side of the mall where we were standing. So there was I squinting to see what the small print said at the bottom of the façade when she said «there where it starts ‘blah blah blah» what does it say after. I couldn’t believe it. She was talking about a sign which was about a foot high and clear as day in the middle of the wall. I have never known what it is like to have perfect vision and now mine is better than perfect.
Having lasik surgery was a scary decision but I am so lucky to have found Dr. Trattler and his wonderful team which made it a breeze.
