This Dunkin Donuts is in a rough place to be. It is between Jackson Memorial Hospital and the Ryder Trauma Center, and so being, their typical customers range from brain surgeons and hospital suits, to patients and homeless people. It is super busy most of the time. This is high traffic, no time for small talk scenario kind of place, but the staff members do a good job in keeping positive and cordial with customers. The food has always been fresh and so has the coffee. They also do a good job at attempting to keep their lobby clean. I haven’t checked their restrooms and I hope I never have to. Overall, considering everything, this Dunkin Donuts deserves a solid 4-star rating.

My friend and I went to the Dunkin Donuts on 901NW17th Street, Miami Florida, store number #306121, on Friday, May 24, 2013 and we had the most horrible experience with an extremely rude cashier name Laura B. We always frequent this establishment after our appointments, and have never had a problem before this day. This Dunkin Donuts is extremely busy because it is situated between many Doctor Offices and hospitals such as Jackson Memorial and University of Miami. As we entered and went to stand in the line we were glad the place was not busy. We were third in line. Usually the place is packed with medical personnel, patients and visitors etc., and the line is always all the way to the door. When it came time to place our order the cashier Laura B was very abrupt. The order was # 3 – multigrain bagel and medium coffee and also a small coffee. Before I had a chance to say how we wanted the coffee’s prepared she huffed with and Aagh! And aggressively asked«HOWDOYOUWANTYOURCOFFEE’S», taken by surprise I then stated«very little cream and no sugar» and also stated«if I could have a few sweeteners such as Splenda, Equal or Sweet’N Low». She then said very loudly that«THEYDONOTHAVEANY». At that point I told her she needs to relax and not be so rude. She then put her hand in my face basically telling me to shut-up and said«HEWILLDOYOURCOFFEE». My friend paid and then we asked to speak with the manager. All he did was apologize for her behavior but did nothing to console us. He then stood by her on the other register to observe her. As far as I am concerned he seemed to condone her behavior. I will never patronize this Dunkin Donuts ever again.

Fast and very friendly. They handle all types of customers from the ones that want five star service to the ones that are hostile. I have a very happy view of this place that I go to every day. Thank you for being always open.

A dunkin donuts that is open 24 hours a day near the trauma center… how amazing!!! They are also pretty happy even at 3 in the morning which is really nice. Not always the nicest clientele, but you can’t blame the location for that.

It’s 3am and you are stuck in the ER at Jackson? I feel your pain. And your insance, gut-wrenching hunger. And your depression. You need comfort food. And coffee, so you don’t end up falling asleep with your head on Mr. Sneezy’s shoulder, directly in the bacteria fallout zone. Enter the 24 hour Dunkin’ Donuts. With free WiFi. It’s right there, a five minute walk from that cesspool of an ER that will make you leave sicker than how you came. It definately smells better than the ER waiting room. Sounds better too. Leave Sneezy Pete and the horrifying sights and sounds of the ER behind. The staff here is waaay friendlier than the poor harried ER nurses barking EVERYONE’s name but yours. And did I mention… donuts? By the way, as it is just about 3am, the fresh donuts probably are there waiting for you. And I know it isn’t Krispy Kreme… but nothing is. This is the best chance at a feel-good experience on a screwed up, long, day. Enjoy it.

Slow service is the reason they get 2 stars. I love the aroma of coffee in the morning but due to slow service and the outside beggars it has lost some luster. A few other things they had quite a few employees behind the counter only 1 operated the register another got the food. Why then were 3 other employees there doing nothing while the dining area was such a mess?

Smallish run of the mill donut shop at Jackson Memorial Hospital. The décor a bit dated if not a little dirty looking. Convenient location if you need a coffee or donuts while visiting someone at the hospital.

I discovered this place last week lost in search of a client’s new office. I am a Miami native and a decent navigator so this was odd. But not as odd as finding this Dunkin Donuts in the middle of nowhere(or at least outside my realm). It’s a find so definitely check it out!
