I’m giving this one star because everything in the store is amazing and I would love to have any of their art! It is all awesome, however, I purchased a watch a few days before Christmas, and I explained to the sales lady that my boyfriend is out of town because he works on yachts. He’s a personal chef and wouldn’t be back in time for Christmas to get his gift– and then it wouldn’t be within their 11 day policy to exchange the watch if he didn’t like it. Because that is a very unique Watch it’s for certain people’s taste. He did like the watch, but he thought the band was a little too big. However he still liked it. After two days the watch was lagging and wasn’t telling the correct time so I decided to go to the store thinking since he didn’t like the band and the battery stopped working for $ 300 I don’t feel like the battery should quit working after two days of him wearing it. So the sales lady that’s there now tells me that it’s not in the 11 day window so I’m not able to return the watch I can only get store credit which I don’t want store credit because I don’t want another of the same watch that is handmade. It doesn’t seem like it is been kept up with they have probably been sitting there for years and maybe sell one every year too so I can see why the battery probably needs to be replaced. But you shouldn’t sell someone a watch for $ 300 that the battery doesn’t work I would rather just go get a reliable brand watch. It is very unfortunate that they are not living up to their word that they told me before I checked out whenever I explained the entire situation… even the general manager claims that he won’t help because they have to follow store policy regardless of what any other employee informed me prior to my purchase. I will not ever buy anything from here again even though I really want one of their paintings it’s just the customer service that was awful they’re only there to make commission I would stick to their art only, not to any sunglasses or watches. It’s January 5th I would have returned the watch sooner but I was not in town for the holidays I feel like if they want to run the proper business they should make exceptions for a loyal customer base.

Really nice shop with special art souvenirs and more expensive paintings and other art stuff. Very friendly staff in the Miami Beach store as well in the down town store.

While strolling by the Bayside Market, we randomly ran into Effusion Gallery. The décor and the art work looked very flamboyant, so we stepping inside to peruse. I was literally gaping at the beautiful arts that they carry. This place definitely effuses happiness. All their art work and figurines are unique, contemporary and colorful. Granted, it is expensive, but you’ll never find anything like this in any other place. I ended up getting two figurines of Mickey and Minnie trying to kiss each other. Looks adorable! Very friendly service. The person at the counter neatly wrapped up in boxes for safely carrying it on flight!

Loved this little art find on Ocean Drive. It is chock-full of bright, colorful pieces. Some art was, of course, better than others. There was a lot of art by Romero Britto(saw a lot of his stuff while visiting in Miami) and by Fabio Napoleoni as well as some others. They had jewelry and little art tchotchkes and all that good stuff also available for purchase. They had cute little paintings of dogs as well, which I believe were canvas prints(not originals). Also, they had the artwork of Dr. Seuss, which was very fun — saw his art at a gallery in Santa Fe last year and was happy to see it at Effusion. While they do have some ‘original original’ art, much of it is AP’s(artist proofs), regular editions(signed and numbered), and just regular prints(not numbered or signed). The pricing was fair of all pieces, and accessible to the beginning art collector. I did end up buying a print here, which I love, by Napoleoni of South Beach. I was afraid of bringing it on the plane, so I had it shipped at a rate of $ 18 which is fair. As a bonus — having it shipped means they waive the Florida sales tax — whoohoo! I hope to have my print this week, and will have it framed soon after. Tamara and Craig were both extremely helpful and friendly. I will definitely visit this gallery again the next time I am in Miami.

I really enjoyed the different art in this gallery. You have interesting colored sketches of famous musical artists. The paintings are set in a way they jump out at your senses with colors and designs. With the acrylic sculpture wall hanging, makes these a perfect addition for your loft. Ultra modern with a retro feel. Even if you do not buy anything here, you will enjoy your stay. I would have taken more pictures but they would not allow me.

It was a lot of fun to browse through this gallery. Mostly just contemporary trendy three-dimensional artwork but quality. That’s saying a bit for a former SCAD student.
