I have been going here over 23 years and the food is really great. Love their pupusas however they do need to update the place and make certain things such as accepting debit and credit a convenience to their customers. This place is cash only. The prices have gotten bigger and the food smaller. The food is awesome but the place has the smell of toilets or cleaning detergents. Business has really dropped here I imagine because other Salvadorian restaurants have opened in the area with more convenience to their customers. Despite the fact that I I don’t give them a 4 star just for customer convenience. The service can be slow at times too! I normally call my order in and not eat there. Their curtido is the best have not seen it being done in such way anywhere else. I recommend you try to take home.

My father has been visiting this place for years now! The food is very good, especially popusas. To be honest, they’re the best I have ever tasted before. Very good Salvadorian food!!!

Went there on Christmas day because the other restaurants were closed, a great serendipity. The food was great, better than El Carreta(on an absolute basis, let’s say). Pupusas were very good, as all the rest actually. In fact, if I lived around, I’d be there all the time. Cheap too!

I have been at the«to go» window of this place five times. Three of those times I was buying chicharrón. They were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside; they were not the least bit burnt. I haven’t eaten inside, because I haven’t had the need to, but I have a feeling that you must be a Spanish speaker to have an ante on the usual customer. Still, service has always been great and quick. Best tip I can give is to try the café con leche if you like sweet coffee drinks. It’s better than any Starbucks version.

Honestly this is not a five star restaurant it’s a cafeteria and when it comes to great food at an affordable price this place is perfect. The pupusa de chicharron and revuelto is the best. I only wish they would accept cards.

I’ve been coming here for years. The pupusas are great, especially the cheese and chicharron. It’s a hole in the wall but that’s part of the charm of this and many other restaurants in the Little Havana area of Miami. If you’re looking for delicious authentic Salvadorian food that wont put a dent in your wallet then I highly suggest you give it a try.
