I love El Rinconcito Latino… on 8th street. We’ve had so many issues at this location starting with terrible service. Seriously, it’s so bad we would only order take out. Then the one on 8th street opened. They have awesome service and the food is actually better!
It’s a 3 mile difference between this one and the one on 8th but it’s 100% worth the extra drive.

I came here for breakfast after work. The environment was clean and friendly service. I ordered a cheese omelet & papa rellena. I had no clue it comes with Cuban toast and a café con leche. Everything was delicious & definitely had a homey feeling. I received my food fast. Definitely will go here again.

So far we only go for breakfast every weekend and plates are abundant, inexpensive and very fresh. Service is very good and friendly. It’s always packed but not impossible to find a table fast.

First time here and I gotta say it was awesome. I ordered the masas de Puerco, carne con papa, sopa de vejetables, and the baby churasco. My favorite were the masas de puerco but The food was delicious and the portions were huge. I’m a big eater and it filled me up. It’s a definite must try. The food will keep you coming back for more.

This place fire as shit, it’s right by my house, service can be a little slow but the place is always packed which is a good thing right! If you go I would recommend the pollo a la plancha with platanitos, white rice and black beans also the vaca fritas nice too

It was ok. The croquetas had cold spots, not cooked enough. The arroz imperial also had cold spots. The churrasco was to thick and did not have enough seasoning, even with the chimichurre sauce. The free bread and butter was the best part.

Prices are very reasonable however service was horrible. The moment we walked in, the host did not take us to the table, he just pointed it out and told us to go over there. They did not help us with the baby high chair. They also did not fill up my cup of water which I had completely drank by the time I was half way through my food.
We ordered the Paella Valenciana. It had good taste. It can feed 2 people.
Don’t think the place is horrible, but I don’t think I would come here again.

If you are in Miami and want great tasting typical Cuban food for an extremely reasonable price, this is the place. I have come to the conclusion that the food here is far better than more popular restaurants like Versailles for example. The service I received was great as well.

Very nice Cuban place! Open late.
7 of us dined here late, and it was fast.
Service was warm and awesome; though our server didn’t know how to speak English, we were able to communicate with her without too much difficulty.
Besides, when the food is so GOOD, no one cares if it is a little difficult to order it. Will come back again if I am in the area!

Excellent place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Food is top notch! Servings are enough for two and the price are great! Also tied the Crema de Calabasa, it was great!

This restaurant is close to my mom’s house and my brother is a big time fan of there huge chicken breast platter with white rice! So I’ve tried them quite a few times. We never eat in but instead I do take-​out after work and we eat at home. Always my go-​to-​place when I’m running late from work and my kids are starving. I’ve never been disappointed. My kids favorite is the «Pollo a la Milanesa» with moro & platanos maduros and both my two girls and myself can eat from one plate! It’s that HUGE! Hubby loves the Pollo Empanizado but he’s Fred Flintstone so he can finish it all by himself… lol
Next time you are in the neighborhood, give them a try! ;)

Great food with great service, whether you dine-​in or call for delivery. Their portions are huge (1 plate will feed 2+) and their flavors are spot on! I usually get the palomilla, rice, beans, and plantains. Always great. Stay away from delivery fries– they arrive soggy. They recently updated their space.

Found this place one day and just keep coming. The food here is delish and the servers are amazing. The prices are just as good! Can’t say one bad thing about this place. Love it!

Remember this is the location on 6741 SW 24 St Mia Fl that I have been use when I’m around the area. Like the last reviews Service is great but I lower the rating cause wife told me that the Tostones where like they use to be. They where not crispy and the Chicken stake was over cook):
This time I did not order the specials of the day for lunch. Started with a appetizer, FUFU DE PLATANO with a small Crema de Vegetales (cream of vegetable) and FRITA CUBANA. I know I order the bad for mine cholesterol diet. But to mine taste this was the best frita cubana that I could consume that day. I’m a happy guy.
