I like most taco spots I go to. This place was not very good. Food is cheap and that’s about the only good thing I could say. Service was terrible and it takes forever to get anything. Servers are rude and bring out the wrong orders. Then treat you like it’s your fault. Don’t think I will ever visit this place again.

Went there for a midnight snack after going out on the weekend. Food is served right off the grill and it was just yummy and flavorful. Do not go for the ambience but if you want good tacos, that is the spot! Highly recommended!

Who puts French fries in a burrito? These studs do!!! The California burrito is some of the best Mexican I have eaten in Miami. This place is cheap, friendly and delicious. Second trip here. I’m in love. Right on Calle ocho. Cheap beer too… Oh my… Instant favorite.

I came back. Ordered the quesadillas. They were like melted cheesy tacos, very good. And had the cecina tacos. I suggest a small side of Guac to go on top of your tacos :) very good and well priced again.

Loved this place! I went here with my family and it was amazing. Very small but the flavors that came off the food made up for it. Since the place is small you can watch the cook cooking right behind the counter. It was a great experience overall. It is a must try!

After several positive trips here, I’m surprised I never wrote a review. Too bad for them, it’s going to based on tonight’s experience. All I can say is if the manager and staff don’t want to be there and want to sit around and talk or go out and drink, then go do it. Don’t keep the place open a give the kind of service my family and I got tonight. First off, if I order you signature nachos and salsa, don’t look at me like you have no clue what I just said. If i’m sitting at your bar top, they should just appear like they do every other time I come. Oh, and they shouldn’t be stale. Second, if we ask for water, could you get around to giving it to us in a timely matter? We waited for about 7 minutes from when we asked for water until we got it. I know, because the young lady who got the water was taking her sweet time pouring it while she was on the phone, so I thought I would time her. Once she served us the water, we were a bit disappointed at how very warm the water was. I figured it took so long, because she was making sure we were served ice cold water with our spicy salsa. My girlfriend asked for a glass of ice. The girl looked at us like she had never heard that ice can be served with water. Next problem was the food. I was going to order the steak tacos and the churrasco tacos, but when I mentioned the churrasco, the cook screwed up his face like he didn’t want to cook them, I figured I would do better not to order them then. The steak tacos were clearly made earlier and tasted dry as hell. My girlfriend ordered another water when she was down and the girl threw out her cup with the ice and poured her another warm cup. Finally,(I should have put this first), the music was too loud. If I have to repeat myself twice for you to hear me, there is an issue. All in all I guess this team is not their«A» team. This people clearly didn’t want to be there or have customers. If you don’t want me there, then don’t open the freaking doors.

Beef tacos were good, the green sauce is awesome.. like a cilantro sauce, the size of the chips are a bit small for a group of 5 but then the waitress was awesome and she hooked us up!

As mexican food goes, this one is passable. I wouldn’t call it authentic. And the«picante» salsa was not so picante. I’ve had hotter; this didn’t even make my nose sweat. As for vegetarian options, somehow these guys think that if it has mushrooms, pepper, and onions, that’s a complete meal that will keep you full for the rest of the day. Nope. Had to order rice and beans on the side to go with my veggie fajitas, because there are no sides included in the meal. The beans were watery, and the rice came in the tiniest bowl. I probably got a total of 3 tablespoons of rice served to me. Not enough for the 4 corn tortillas that came with my fajita«platter.» Still, the ambiance was nice and the service was fast. Two good things to have for a midday work lunch.

Today was my first time here. I really liked the place because it reminded me my last time in Mexico. Authentic Mexican food, not the typical Tex-Mex American version. Happy to have found this place in the heart of Little Havana.

Really?! Come on fellow Unilocalers!!! Come on Latinos!!! I can’t believe this place has a good rating. It was absolutely terrible, not only the tacos were made with re heated meat but the service was terrible and the place was not even busy. We waited more than 20 minutes for 3 tacos that by the way we’re not made fresh by order Give Me a break!!! This tacos are FAR from real Mexican tacos plus it was made with disgusting rubber meat I bet that this is the after hour place where drunk people come after clubbing so they can eat anything and think it is good. I will NOT recommend these tacos to any Latino Moreover, I will not recommend this place to any tourist or any Unilocalers. I really can’t believe this place has some good reviews. Food was very very bad. You are probably better off going to Taco Bell that going to this place. I mean they have the same concept. All the meats are pre_cooked and stored in containers then they just put in on a tortilla and heat it up for a minute when you order. In our case, it was 20 minute wait for that. I bet Taco Bell has better service and flavor. Biggest disappointment I had so far in Calle Ocho I can see Chef Ramsay having a field day in this place

Best mexican on calle ocho. The fresh chips and sauces are delectable, the four served include pickled onion with jalepeno, and the hot sauce of the 4 is actually hot. My regular is the 12″ burrito with fresh chicken, and avocado. This place is cute, along with the wait staff. The only downside is it isn’t open past midnight-ish.

I don’t understand how this place has 4 stars. Obviously it has been rated by either Tourist or people who are not well versed in Mexican Cuisine. It has a great location where the Doble decker tourist bus make a stop in Calle Ocho. One of the few tourist destinations in Miami. This place is all about location. But that is it. I don’t like to give bad reviews but there is nothing to rave about. Their menu options look and sound amazing on paper… It is very different once it comes to your table. To start I was excited about«Agua de Jamaica»(Hibiscus Tea) and it was a bad start… The only thing that resembled it was the color and not the 67 teaspoons of sugar that it had. It was sent back to the kitchen. it obviously came from a concentrate. Then after sending it back, I ordered some Enchiladas in Salsa Verde which the salsa verde was obviously from a jar. The Guacamole had very little chips and it was just avocado. Someone else ordered a Torta and the ratio of bread to meat was unbalanced. In summary is not«really“Mexican. It was more like a Taquito-NO experience. If you are in the mood for authentic better Mexican food there are several options nearby in Calle 8.

I’m new here from Tucson, Arizona(70 miles from Mexico) and I’m on the hunt for good Mexican food(preferably Sonoran) in Miami. I’m told it doesn’t exist, but I won’t give up resigning myself to Taco Bell and On The Border as my top Mexican joints. Came here on lunch and ordered 3 tacos; one al pastor, one carnitas and one an aged salted beef. The carnitas taco was good, but the al pastor and aged salted beef were way too salty. They provided 3 salsas; one a mild salsa verde, a mediante and a picante. The mild and medium were just okay, but the picante was good. For the 3 tacos with tax and tip I paid $ 8.00. A 15% tip is automatically included in the bill. The service was very slow, as only the cook and one waitress were working. I would give it a try again, but it isn’t going to be a favorite for me. If anyone has suggestions for great Mexican, please let me know.

No thanks! Came in dying of hunger, left full and disappointed. Ordered a cheese/chorizo starter… It was cheese from a bag with shredded chorizo and old chips. The«quesadilla» you really cant call it that since it was tree little tacos with lots of tomatoes and nothing more. Oh and on top they were dripping… Yuck tortilla wet. The bf ordered a carnita and cheese ONLY burrito. What does he get? A burrito with beans and vegetables. The service was mediocre at best, the prices are ok and the music was horrible! Oh and no AC
