My daughter came to EJ for a casting for Chicco Italian clothing. It’s set in the posh Eden Roc Hotel. My husband took my daughter for the casting and said it was a very impressive venue. He came in with our daughter to the front desk and the concierge knew exactly where to point him. He took the elevator up, which opened into a cush lounge area where there were only a few parents/​kids awaiting the interview. My husband sat down and within seconds a woman came out of the double doors and pointed to him and said ‘You’re next’. He felt bad — stating that the other people were in front of him, but the lady cocked her head as if he was speaking Chinese and didn’t say a peep. She then repeated herself. He brought her into a large room where there was a panel of people with notepads and a big screen with a photographer. He sat down and said that one of the agents popped up and said ‘oh what a beautiful baby’… she walked over and asked if she could hold her. My daughter went with her without any hesitation. She walked her over to the panel and was doing a little pretend wave with my daughter’s hand. She asked my hubbie if they could take a couple pic’s of her… they did — and voila — they said that our agent will be contacting us soon. And that was that. Super nice, professional, in and out and no BS. I like that.
