Express Nails

I actually liked this place! I came here with a friend who was getting a mani pedi. I decided on getting a pedicure ($ 22) and was very pleased with the service and overall experience. Yes the place isn’t the most aesthetically pleasing nail salon but I wouldn’t say it’s horrible. The staff was very friendly and made small talk unlike other nail places where they mostly just talk to each other and ignore their customers. I would come back.

I have been coming to do my nails here for many years! The owners are very nice and offer excellent service. They do a great job and they have a very fast turn around. The pedicure chairs are very comfortable with built in massage.
Something else people are concerned about when it comes to nail salons is cleanliness. Express Nails sterilizes everything and they also use plastic covers in the pedicure chair tubs. Super clean.
I recommend gel nails. They do not damage your nail and they last twice as long as a regular manicure.
Oh! They also do eyebrow waxing! It’s a one stop shop! And again, they are very fast and accommodating. Open late and sometimes stay open even later for customers who get there right at closing. Open until 8pm on weekdays and Saturdays and until 5pm on Sunday.
It’s hard to find a salon open on a Sunday!

They are ok they do a good job I like the service but sometimes it’s packed and they say 10 minutes when it’s really an hour

It’s a hit or miss at Express Nails. Last time was a definite hit with the owner doing my nails. Today was a miss as he wasn’t there — the nail tech was very slow, the white is incomplete on some nails, too thick in the middle, and I was in too much of a hurry to complain.

Ehh… Definitely not the best but not the worst either. They were nice enough and comfy pedi chairs. No need to return.

While I am not surprised to see other reviews knocking this place down, I’ll give my two cents.
The salon could be a little cleaner– there is nail dust all over the place. I like the fact that there are TVs. The location is a little hole in the wall and if it weren’t for Unilocal,I’d never have found it. The seating is somewhat comfortable.
I usually go on my day off which means that it’s slow and the wait is never long. The employees will try to talk you in to a pedicure and you get the impression that most of them, aside from not speaking English or Spanish too well, only care about your money. I went and got my nails done there once by a man who was rude, didn’t speak English, stared at my chest, and didn’t bother to use top coat on my nails. They chipped within a week.
But then there is Julie (aka Moon). She is the flower in this forgotten garden. She is cheerful, funny, vivacious, and extremely artistic. She gave me the best manicure I ever had and that is why this place is getting 3 stars. My nails were thin, perfectly shaped, and I did not feel an ounce of pain or lose any blood. You get the impression that she really likes what she does. I will not go back there unless I set an appointment with her. She’s awesome. If everyone there performed like she did the place would get 5 stars.

Admittedly, the prices here are really good. You can’t beat $ 18 for a filling.

This place was HORRIBLE! I went there because my husband wanted to get a pedicure and was embarassed to go where I usually go. Well I went in and I tell him let’s go somewhere else please I don’t like it! It doesn’t seem good. Well now I know why it’s called Express Nails. It was horrible service. It’s been less than a week and polish is already coming off!!! NEVER EVER AGAIN!!! If I could I would give it a 0.
