YUCK! Although full kitchen, terrible amenities. Stayed for a week and couldn’t wait to get out. Not to mention the terrible SMELLY clientele. Go elsewhere

Nice location, good restaurants, but bad sleep. This is what you would expect from a economy extended stay hotel, no thrills, bad beds, noisy ac unit, and once a week room service. A supermarket and pharmacy are within walking distance for your needs I would stay at this location again, now knowing what to expect.

Got the absolute worst sleep here — hate to be overly negative for a place that has a great location, but the beds are more like slabs than mattresses. Also someone smoked a cigarette in my bathroom while I was gone during the day.

I stayed here for 3 weeks, and planned to stay longer while still searching for a new apartment, however my stay was rudely interrupted which forced me leave early. I wasn’t sure on the exact duration of my stay, so I would extend it as needed each week. The last time I extended it another 8 or 9 days until Wednesday October 8th, and the gentleman working the front desk at the time was very helpful in extended my reservation. Sunday morning I ran a couple of errands and when I returned to my room my key didn’t work. Thinking it somehow just got deactivated, I went down to the front desk to have it fixed. The lady at the front desk informed me the reason was because my reservation expired– 3 days before it was supposed to end. Confused, I told her, «No… I booked my reservation until the 8th, it’s paid for.» Her less than helpful response was, «ummm no ma’am, we don’t book for that long, we have to collect the payment each week, so your checkout is today.» Sooooo why was I told one thing and now this? What was I charged for then? No solution was offered besides recommending I use a new credit card. I was furious and left the next day. My advice, don’t stay here. There are much better hotels for the price in Miami. Now staying at the b2 hotel in downtown– MUCH nicer, and cheaper.

I’ve never been a fan of Extended Stay properties but this one changed my mind. While the rooms were what you would expect from an economy hotel, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff greatly enhanced my stay and added another star to my rating.(Attention management: give your staff a raise). It’s very close to Coral Gables’ Miracle Mile and right next door to a very good Cuban Restaurant(yeah I know, in Miami practically every hotel is next to a Cuban Restaurant). And the rooms are clean and comfortable. They have a kitchenette but seems to missing some of the things you would like to see … like a corkscrew or can opener. I discovered this while returning with a sealed bottle of wine and no way to open it. Fortunately, their superstar staff came to the rescue and found an opener and life was good. While lacking in the amenities of a 4-star hotel, Extended Stay America was well worth the money. We had a great stay.

While this is no Ritz Carlton, it is an absolutely good serviceable hotel, near the port of Miami, with a Walgreen’s immediately across the street, a supermarket nearby, and several good restaurants(Tutto Pasta is an excellent Italian favorite of mine that I ate at twice in one day) within easy walking distance. There is a full sized refrigerator, a microwave and coffeemaker, and a stovetop. There is even a guest laundry in the hotel. Bed types are queens, kings or two double beds. Quite reasonable rooms in the $ 100 range. The staff are very friendly and helpful and always greet you with a smile! Update 3−10−09 I have continued to stay, on several occasions, at this Extended Stay, when cruising out of Miami. It is very convenient to the port and Tutto Pasta, just down the street, is a mecca for the best in dining. Chef Juca amazes me with his wonderful meals that rival San Francisco’s finest. The property has become like a second home to me though I am just here for a night going to and from my Royal Caribbean vacations. The staff are most welcoming and the beds comfy. I don’t need anything more!
