I am not an actual customer of Front Point but I wanted to write a review about the customer service I rec’d. I am currently with ADT which was Brinks, and paying $ 59.34 a month for service. I did some research on the internet and Front Point came up as the #1 Home Security Service. I filled out the info request and Denton called me. He reviewed my security needs and told me about the different services they have plus informed me of the black Friday specials. Initial set up fee was $ 186(black Friday special). Since I had upgraded to ADT in March and paid hundreds to upgrade their equipment, I was hesitant. Denton talked to his manager and got the price down to $ 99 with the first month’s monitoring free(monthly monitoring was $ 44.99). Unfortunately, if I didn’t sign up right away, the special price would no longer be offered. Denton assured me that I have 30 days(extended to 60 days) to review the service and cancel with a full refund, if I wasn’t happy or I had issues cancelling with ADT. I signed up and called ADT afterwards. Unfortunately, I am under a 3 yr contract with ADT(this was the first time I heard of it — the ADT installation tech did not mention that to me nor did I read the entire contract before signing it, my fault). Cancelling would cost me $ 1000+. EEEEKKKKKKKKKWTF I contacted Denton and he put me thru to Will to see if FrontPoint could help in getting ADT to release me from the contract. Will advised me to see if ADT would accept their equipment back or accept the equipment with a restocking fee. Will got me 6 months of monitoring free to cover the restocking fee from ADT(if they gave one to me). I contacted ADT again but nope. The contract is for 3 yr monitoring service not equipment, which I would have to return anyways. I called Will back and Front Point is issuing me a refund for the $ 99.99. Its shame though. On a positive note, ADT is giving me a $ 6/mth discount on my rate for $ 49.99. I tried to get them down to 44.99 but no can do. They are also coming to tweak the motion sensor to «pet mode» instead of «insect flies near sensor and alarm goes off’ mode. Reminder to self. In 2 years on Black Friday, call Front Point and sign up. Hopefully they have specials!!! FYI. It took a week and a half to get the refund.

WOW… I was so impressed at first when I called in to gather information about their alarm systems. I had read great reviews online and they had top ratings all over. I am a new home owner, and have been renovating my house and am doing research on alarm systems to place in my renovated home. Everything was very interesting and Alex, the Rep who serviced my call was extremely informative in his sales pitch. He offered all kinds of discounts and walked me through the whole process. Towards the end of the conversation he became very aggressive and even had the NERVE to ask me why I had called in if I didn’t need the alarm until August. He had offered to give me the month of July for free. I found the price to be a little more than I wanted to pay for their service(I am on a tight budget after the renovations), but need to do some more research to determine which system and what price range I am comfortable with. He told me what I was telling him did not make any sense, he was offended by the fact that I was not willing to commit right then and there. I explained that I was gathering information and doing research so I could make the right decision once I was ready. He became quite rude in the end of the conversation and left me with a horrible impression of the company(shocking as it had started off real good). He abruptly hung up after I asked him for his number so I could call him back if and when I was ready. He basically told me that I was going to make the wrong decision and was going to get an inferior product when I did call the other companies that would give me free equipment. Honestly, they may have the best ratings out there for their product, but their sales staff needs proper training on how to politely service their callers and potential clients. I think they lost a client here. Quite a shame.

I am very happy with FrontPoint Security! What I love the most is the fact that I am able to move the alarm without getting a new system, you can just take it with you! In the few times the device was set up the alarm system was always responsive. I pay about $ 34 a month for monitoring!

I’ve had FrointPoint for over two years and it’s been great. It is super easy to install and if I move I can take it with me. The service over the phone is also really helpful and responsive.

FrontPoint is great! We have online access, mobile access, and the manual access is simple and easy to use. Also, the system is comletely wireless, using cellular technology. The customization of the system is catered to the user as well. I couldn’t recommend FrontPoint more!
