Gables Coin & Stamp Shop

Extremely disappointed with this store !!! I used to buy .999 fine silver at this store, believe it or not I took some of my friends to the store just starting to invest with silver, over a month I believed we all spent over 30 000 $ unfortunately the last time I had stepped in there is was horrible treated. they made me feel like I beged them for free stuffs without paying a penny!!! they should appreciate that I tolld my friend to go there to buy their silver and they are the one who made money out of it not me !!!
Story started up when I placed an order for 9500 $ (in cash which I found out they shouldnt charge me if I pay for cash) at first place they told me they had to charged as they didnt have any silver left I agreed to pay 3% to order them, they told me it will take 3 days to received then end up almost 2 weeks !! it’s ok as longer as I can get silver, when I got there… a new guy came to ask me as I was standing there for 10 mins no one hlep at all and it been always like that… I told him I came to pick up my silver which I ordered 2 weeks ago… he asked John who is the owner if they already got silver for me… while I waited to get silver I saw full box of silver round and ask a new if I could purchased those silver today… he ask me how much do I want to buy I told them all of them if they have for me as I have another 10 000 $ cash with me, he went to check and told me they dont have that much prebably for 150oz and I can just order more if I want more, so I told him I would prefer to buy them if they have so I dont need to pay for 3% for cost of order silver, he turned and wonder what I have to pay 3% for? I said «for placing order» that moment I felt something wrong and he ask me if I pay with credit and I told him I always buy in cash !!! well, he was so surprised I did I get chrge for hey shouldnt chrge me anytihng if I pay in cash… then this new guy ask John (owner) why I have to pay for 3% because they never charge anyone before John said that was their commission !!! surprise !!!
what it made me extremely disappointed when John said to me «Mam is you want to do business with me you better not to question me if you want take your money back I do business long time you take it or leave it » !!! seriously that moment I was pissed !!! I didnt ask him anything his worker was the one tried to clarified as he never charge anyone who order silver before Im not the one want to ask !!! beside before I left I ask a new guy that at the first place he seems very nice to me to give me a box to keep silver. it was the red box that cost 5 $ which every time I bought silver there they used to give me and when I ask him he said yes but 5 $ I told him well, I always get it and I dont have to pay for it as they said I bought a lot of silver so its ok to give to me right away he yell at me in front of everybody and it was some other customers there in the store «this is not for free you have to pay for it «I said «I understand is not for free but they always give me as a gift since I spent so much money here» again he said «what !! who said that !! who giv it to you tell me now I will fired him right now!!! «OMG !!! unbelievable !!! I wish I’m that freaking bad person to tell them who was the one give me the hell box… but I take a deep breath and tell them you know what I dont need it and I left and I never come back ever again !!! thnk you for treated me like this God know and decision is him weather you will be in good business… since then I found a new place in Kendall they are so nice and I invest over 200 000 $ as sivler went down… if they would have treated me the way I bring them business in they should appreciate wht I did to them… I will never ever go back there ever again… good luck

This place got a lot of it, inside this tiny store located on the Miracle Mile. No, it is not an entirely exhaustive collection that would make the Fed Reserves look skimpy, but since the Miracle Mile is a place some tourists go to experience the upscale Gables, this coin shop is probably (my guess) one of the more popular coin shops in Miami.
Some people probably would love to learn a lot about these historical coins especially since, in a way, it speaks of Miami’s diversity that has contributed to the variety of coins within this shop.
