I came to enjoy lunch with my grandmother and I’m glad we chose this bakery. Although there’s not much to see and there’s no décor really except for the«machinitas» from the 90’s this little bakery is a great clean spot. From some of the pictures on the wall it seems like they support Braddock Bulldogs, showing they give back to the community. I ordered a café con leche and a media noche — delicious and super stuffed with fresh deli meat. Traditionally a media noche is a pressed sandwich with pork, ham, Swiss cheese, pickles, mayo, and mustard in the middle. For me hold the pickles and mustard but be generous with the mayo :) When I bit down into my sandwich it was cold, so I asked the lady to press it some more and that I promise not to complain if it burned lol. Grandma was feeling peckish, so she first ordered a pastellito de guyaba. So buttery sticky and flakey! Then she asked for an empanada de pollo and a pastellito de carne with a cortadito. Everything was fresh and delicious! I enjoyed my visit and will definitely return!
