Located in between a Laundromat and a Starbucks, this shop is one of the reasons I come to this shopping center, apart from my occasional stop at the Publix(which is around the corner). This is one of the bigger GameStop’s in Miami, and I think I have been to them all. If it’s not because of someone from overseas wanting to buy the latest console, or going on a mission to find an obscure game, I always end up in one of these stores, sometimes just to look, sometimes because I’m being dragged in. Like I said, this store is big. That means big inventory. I have been here with people who have found weird games that got no advertisement dollars and therefore flew under the radar, and also with some people who found super old stuff. As a matter of fact, I think this is one of the few stores to still offer Gameboy Advance cartridges, no kidding. The location of the store is also very convenient. It’s right by the Dolphin expressway, so if you are traveling West to East, exit on 57th Avenue and a quick in and out will get you there. The people here are also cool. They are very nerdy when it comes to video games, and that is something you definitively want in this case. If you ever have a chance to inquire about consoles, PC games, cards games, Yu-Gi-Oh! cards, comic books, and obviously video games, be ready to be blown to pieces. These people are hard core and knowledgeable. Interacting with them and making them access their«memory brain» will make you forget you had to wait in line forever. Clean store, large inventory, easy access, good people. A winner. PS: Used games are available on a try-out base. If you don’t like it after you played it, I repeat, If You Don’t Like It After You Played It, you can return it within a week. All you have to say is: I did not like. Just like that.
