I’ve worked in restaurants and bars for over 10 years and was both a lead server and bartender. For me to want to write such a long review let me tell you that this place needs all the help it can get. I came with my family here on Saturday night with a broken leg but with my family with the intentions to have fun. I was told to wait 45 min for a table to dine at. The restaurant had over 20 tables open tables around the restaurant. At first we thought it was for a party, but the tables remained available the entire time. I was waiting outside in the entrance area with my broken leg extremely exhausted. Management walked by me atleast 3 times(2 different managers a lady and a gentleman) not once did either of them ask me if I needed a chair to sit atleast while I wait(mind you there was 10 chairs atleast avl right Infront of me inside the restaurant) The hostess were next to me the entire time and could careless to have any hospitality or manners at all. The bar on the other hand was packed, yet they still managed to get our drink order and deliver it to us while waiting. Management here sucks and because of it the employees suck because they have no form of direction or discipline. I see a lot of gossip and standing around in a place that could seriously be the best place to come in Miami to spend family time at a affordable price. Change it up or I see you going bankrupt. I would put EVERYONEONCHECKHERE. To top things off. This is my first time here since I was a little girl myself. They have this special that for $ 16 something you eat and get 1 hour play card. You can also upgrade it to two hours for $ 8 more dollars. So after I sit down and order they bring me my cards, I then asked the server I wanted to upgrade the cards to the two hours and he tells me that management said no because the order has to be put in all at once. First off this was my first time here I had no idea. So I called the manager over, she then was very polite and kindly upgraded them for me. The food took over an hour. Once again the restaurant remained empty during our ENTIRESTAY. Once we were done eating and getting up from the table was when the lady manager came up to me and offered me a seat if I wanted to stay sitting down while my family played. I politely declined the offer. After such a horrible experience though, my family and I still had an amazing time playing all the games. And with that special we had so much playing time that we still have left over for next time. Before we left I walked into the bathroom and 2 cleaning lady’s were there standing up basically sleeping with their eyes closed leaning against the wall. I figured they were done working and the bathrooms were spotless. Of course they were the exact opposite. Horrible odor and dirty all around. Yet there were 2 employees in there. One other good thing and the only other good thing I have to say besides the bar, was the food. The food was pretty good. Atleast there we were all very satisfied and the games. That’s all I have to say.

Game Time is FUNTIME for all ages. i went there with my wife and 5 year old son. we spent there around 3 hours played games watched the Miami dolphins game and had lunch. first let me say this place is clean and classy for what it serviced. the food was perfectly made and the portions are full filling. my son had a blast with all the games they had that he could play. the waiter was friendly and professional. it was our first time there and sure will not be the last. now we found the perfect place for the whole family to enjoy. Thank you Game Time.

The staff keep this place pretty clean, but a few of the games didn’t work properly. The air hockey upstairs didn’t have good air flow along the table. So an Air Hockey Master, like myself, was constantly bashing the puck across the room and into my date’s face(it’s okay, he deserved it). I also managed to break one of the air hockey tables downstairs and had to slink away when it started beeping and crying for maintenance. We also passed a couple other games that had the«out of order» light blinking. The bartender was pretty awesome and made great drinks, but I don’t know if it’s always that way. Although, they are quite pricey. A rum and coke and Corona wound up being $ 18. How are people supposed to afford getting tanked while shirking their parental duties?! Oh, Miami. I didn’t try any of the food, but the dining area is surprisingly classy-looking.

Fair prices. Fun games, especially hot air balloon game. I played various rounds of air hockey with friends. A great place to spend a nice afternoon.

Game time isn’t only great for kids, but it’s also great for kids at heart. I went there last night with my boyfriend and a couple friends and we had an absolute blast. They have a large variety of games to play. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Prices are also not to bad for the concept. The store where you pick up your price also has an extreme variety of good stuff :) Now, For the adults not to worry they have a full bar and as of my experience Kevin was great. He knew his stuff and made some of the best drinks I’ve had in a while. He was also very funny attentive and professional. Unfortunately I wasn’t too hungry so I only tried out the pep pizza but it was delicious ! Have fun, may your inner child come out :)

This was a pleasant surprise. The Unilocalies went all out. This place is great for both adults and kids. It has a full bar, TV all around. Great games for everyone to enjoy. Definitely will recommend this place to everyone.

Gaming area was awesome, the problem was the restaurant, there was not many people eating there and service took very long and the appetizers came out at the same time with our food(after 45min), I think they need more servers and cooks because it was very slow to even get recognized(15min).

Went here with my husband yesterday and had a lot of fun — 95% of the games were working, which is a lot better than most bar & grill/arcades like this. They had a perfect mix of sport/physical activity games, virtual, driving. We got the 2 hour unlimited pass for $ 23 each. After about an hour and a half, we had played everything we wanted to. If I go back, I’ll go with the 1-hour pass. I won’t eat from the bar again, even though the quality was decent. I knew the food would be overpriced, but the service could have been much better. A smile would have gone a long way. Also, the TV automatically changed from a Rays game in the 9th inning to an NHL update show, and the bartender didn’t have a remote. We probably would have sat and had another drink if not for that.

I’m giving 4 stars because the game area is a really great time but the bar service and food is easily 2.5 — 3 stars. I came out with my boyfriend for our first time here last night. The arcade area is great. They have more than enough games(2 floors worth) and options for everybody. Great for a date night or with a group of friends. Before we played we decided to sit at the bar for a drink and some food. Ordered the tempura chicken bites and the Buffalo chicken wrap with fries to share. Tempura bites were way overcooked. Hard to bite into and the breading was hardly tempura. It was a very thick flour dough type of breading. Not what I wanted at all. Left more than half of it uneaten in the end. The buffalo chicken wrap was great, fries were fresh, no complaints on that dish. The service: first of all let’s start with there were less than 10 people at the bar including myself and my boyfriend when we first sat down. It took at least 5 minutes for either 2 bartenders to acknowledge us. After getting us our drink and food order our bartender didn’t say anything to us. Never asked if we wanted another round when we were done with our drinks. Never asked us how the food was once it FINALLY came out. Even though at one point we were literally the only 2 people at the bar! She was also apparently incapable of smiling. Had a permanent look on her face like she couldn’t wait to leave. Only ounce of a smile or a sentence we got was when we left. We’ll be back for games but we’ll be skipping the bar.

Fun time with friends & family. The restaurant took a while to bring us our food & when they did, the vegetables were still in the bag… So we knew they were frozen, not fresh. Still a good time for a date or even a big group of people, any age

I am impressed… Maybe I’m easily impressed but Game Time was a blast! Started out meeting a friend at The Shops of Sunset… talk turned to lunch. We wanted sushi(across Sunset there are several options). but got outvoted by a 10 year old. That’s how we ended up in Game Time. I first noticed how much the place had changed from the last time I was there which was maaany moons ago… when it was called Game Works. with a then 8 year old… who is now no longer eight… and stands 6′ 5″ and probably does not want his mother to take him to an arcade: sigh: Sat down in the restaurant in a comfy booth. Sweet and delightful server, Mia, appeared and took our order and explained how by adding X amount to the food order, one can get a card with 30 or 40 credits which are good for whenever you want to use them and another(blue) card which is good for one hour play on video games but must be used all at once as the hour starts when the card is first swiped through the card reader. My friends opted for this food/play combo and I just ordered a hamburger med-rare. .which came with a side. A Caesar salad for me. Salad was veerrry bland and I asked for more dressing… burger leaned toward well. Friends food was fine. My burger went back and out came a niiice rare one. Mia was very good humored and friendly. A bit odd how lunch for three people came out all at separate times. Oh well,. It’s not fine dining. Finished and entered the vast realm of arcade games the likes of which«I» had never seen before. I walked around like a wide-eyed kid… mostly following my 10 year old friend getting nauseated and wincing at his manic ride on the Typhoon, Got dizzy watching him on the Indy 500. Failed to shoot any dinosaurs or evil snow-beasts on the Dream Raider and therefore got devoured,(GULP!). Watched him and developed temporary vertigo in a cylindrical ride that shoots you in a little seat up to the ceiling and down slowly, reminiscent of the Parachute Drop in Coney Island. Oh yes, I’m a ride affecianado from waaay back! Played a frantic game of air hockey and LOST… Badly!!! Showed HIM how to score at Skii-Ball which goes for a mere two credits probably ’cause it’s not fast and furious, bumpety, bone-jolting, gut wrenching and LOUD… I was GOOD! I scored BIG… nobody cared: le sigh: All in all, I had a lot of fun. I’d go back… but just SEE if I take that 10 year old Air-Hockey champ with me next time! Hrmmmph! xo-a

I barely ever come to the stores at sunset mall. Parking not my favorite. But I love coming to game time. The food is great. My kids love all the games and prizes. There many games for everyone in the family. A lot better then going to chunky e cheese. You get a card that has your token and tickets saved. Which makes it a lot easier to handle then having tokens in a cup running around.

Although we had to get someone to assist us we had a great time!!! It is great for parents to bring their older children away from chuck e cheese !!! We came to celebrate our sons 7 birthday the kids always enjoy when we come here. There is something for everyone young and old, they also have great drinks for us adults !!

Some games they have here are better than Dave & Busters but 70% of the machines don’t work, steal credits etc. When you walk in don’t expect to see anyone at the front desk. Go to the bar if you want to purchase a game card. The food is decent for a hole in the wall location. The slowest service on the face of the planet. I still prefer Dave & Busters food and games, maybe that’s why gametime is always dead weekdays & the dining area has tumbleweeds rolling around. My 5th time at this location after I finish off the 258 credits I still have on my card I’m hitting up the prize area and never coming back!

Great time there! The games are fun, you have a vast array of race car, classic arcade, zombie, superhero, basketball games! Had so much fun acting as a kid again! I laughed so much, my cheeks hurt! Did not try the restaurant but can’t imagine is super great food… I have also attended a birthday party there before and of course it was a big hit with the kids! Can’t wait to go back and laugh, laugh and laugh!

I stopped here for some much needed adult fun. There is a variety of games and all of them seemed to be working properly which was a bonus. I have been to other gaming establishments were some of the best games wouldn’t be working. Anyway, I thought the ballon game was the best but has to be operated by an employee and can cause long lines. The problem with this place was getting your card read so you can redeem your tickets. The prizes are crappy and really not worth it unless you are lucky enough to win at Spin It to Win It a few times. To get your card read to determine what prizes you can get was a huge pain. There was no line and you just waited at the counter until an employee swiped your card. Of course people will take their time to determine what prizes they want. Which is frustrating to say the least.

When it comes to arcades I’m basically a giant kid. I’ll zoom from game to game and will openly gloat when I randomly win the ticket jackpot. I could care less that my competitors were 7 yr olds. I still won! Game Time has a great variety of games. Definitely more than D&B but there are a few that they share. Plus they have unique ones such as a Transformers 2-person shooter and a vertical lift ride called Sky Pirates. You’re strapped into a chair that can lift up and down while your try to shoot down your opponent’s air balloon. Everything works similarly to D&B, where you use a card loaded with credits to play games and store tickets. No more hoarding paper tickets in a dirty, sticky cup. The prizes are geared towards kids and are very carnival like. There are glass cases filled with candy and cheap China made knick knacks along with wall of stuffed animals. The most adult-ish prizes were flashlights and camping lanterns… I’ll pass on those. As a bonus, for $ 10 you can play all of their games for 5 hours on Thursdays.

Came for my daughters 5th grade graduation«after party». We had a blast. I was a bit skeptical when one of the moms suggested we come here. But I was pleasantly surprised. The food was good, the games were fun and most important the kids had a blast. Not to mention great selection of drinks. Our waitress Sharon was great. She explained to is the meal option with play pass and helped us get a bang for our buck. Overall great experience and my kids want to return.
