I have to agree with JC. It’s not a place to relax. It’s typically pretty crazy. But I just want a good haircut. I’ve been using the guy from Panama and he pays attention to detail. So overall it may be the best place in the area.

I visited this establishment due to the fact that my barber moved to another city, and I had to get a last minute cut. You will either love this place, or can’t stand it. It really depends what kind of ambiance you’re looking for in your barbershop. 1) If you’re looking for a quiet shop, this is definitely not the place for you! 2) If you’re looking for a shop that plays soft jazz, the TV running sometimes, and light conversation on «relevant» current world or city events, this is not the shop for you. 3) If you’re looking for a loud, obnoxious, high-school type atmosphere, then you’ll love this place! I consider myself #2, and if I had to pick a second choice, it would be #1. But it would never be #3!!! For that reason, I won’t be back! But that’s me… Maybe you’re#3. ;o) From what I see, the barbers all have average skills at best…

I’ve been bringing my sons here for almost a year. I’ve never left disappointed. My children have different types of hair and these barbers handle it well.

Great barber shop vibe. Lots of great barbers. Been going to Jason for a while now and he never lets down. Love being able to go in with an appt and never having to wait.

What do you do when you have 45 minutes between work and an outing where you have to look your best? Do you weep, panic, stress eat or turn off your phone? No. You never do these things, you are a man. What you do is head to Goodfellas. I walked in to Goodfellas on a Friday afternoon, no appointment and maybe an hour max. Did they turn me away? Never! I was immediately taken to the back and sat down in a chair. The man who helped me(whose name I really wish I could remember) was great. I needed my head shaved and let me tell you, he did an amazing and thorough job. He started with an electric trimmer, went to electric razor and finished off with a straight razor. I felt no burn and my head was as shiny as Homer Simpson’s after he stuck it in the bowling ball shiner. The ambiance at Goodfellas was relaxed and comfortable. The 8 or so of us in the back had a wide array of conversations, from education reform in schools to Nicki Minaj’s posterior, and countless topics in between. They prefer cash at Goodfellas, but they can swipe your card via the square app if you ask nicely. Otherwise, there is an ATM on site you can use to withdraw some cash. If you need a quick trim, full shave or an epic idea you need realized, head to Goodfellas, you won’t be disappointed.

Excellent service and I’m picky. They’re open on Sundays! Ask for Eric; he’s an artist.

$ 15 for haircuts $ 9 for tapers What’s a taper? A taper goes by many names(blow out, brook, or brooklyn come to mind). It’s basically a type of cut where the hair in front of the ear and the neckline is shortened to skin level. The rest of the hair goes untouched. There is less work involved in this haircut, hence the low price. But do plan on applying plenty of product to make the haircut stand out. Do call ahead to make an appointment. Other reviewers have listed competent barbers and I’ll add to the name list as well. His name is Jason. If you have straight hair, then he’s someone that will hook it up. As with most urban barber shops, you’ll find plenty of tv’s and lots of conversation. During my visit, the discussion revolved around local plants that help with the prevention of cancer. I tried to pay attention, but there were other sidebars going on and Sportscenter was playing on every screen. It’s a cornucopia of entertainment…

This place is amazing. All the barbers here cut great. Ralfie is great. Alex is great too. Actually every single person in their cuts great hair. I am reeeeaaally meticulous about my haircut. And I hate it when I am out of town and have to find a new barber. My heart starts beating fast and then I can FEEL them ruining my tape. Well, not at Goodfellas. They tape you up, to give you a natural look. The fades are great too of course. I don’t care how beat up I am from constant partying, drinking and smoking. If I get my haircut here I look like a goddamn model. Most of the guys here have been cutting hair for over a decade now. I’ve seen them move from one barbershop to the next, so I know that they are all great and I always recommend my friends to get a cut here. I have been getting my haricut from those same group of people for over 10 years now. I know I have a great haircut when people ask me where I have gotten it. Oh yeah, they love to listen to hip hop, watch sports and talk about ‘em. I’m not big into sports but if you are, then it’s a great spot to get your chat on. I hate expensive salons that charge you 60 $ for a crappy haircut. If you know what you want, these barbers can deliver it exactly how you want for an affordable price. p. s. I have really straight and thick hair. I get a #1 fade on the sides and I let them trip the top of my head where I spike it up with gel.

This place was ok. I’ve been in Miami now for about 8 months and I’ve had trouble finding a good and inexpensive barber shop. This place does a great job with fades, tapes, etc., but for people with longer hair, or if you want a fade without getting a tape then this might not be the place for you. Overall I would consider going back because the fade was really good, and I would just try to be more specific about what else I want to see how that works. It’s also pretty inexpensive for Miami(I believe I paid $ 12 plus tip) and much better than Super Cuts or Hair Cuttery in my opinion.
