GoodFellas Towing & Recovery

Excellent service. Arrived in the time AAA said they would and were very helpful unloading our car in the rain. Will definitely use them if we ever get in a bind again.

Not excited I got my car towed but they were nice and professional at least… My battery died and they have me a jump and the price was fair considering the normal rates in the area.

Bro… what a great experience with goodfellas towing and recovery. I’ve never been so happy to get towed.

Now… allow me to pile on.
Roadside assistance dispatched this company to give us a tow. What was originally estimated as a 45-​minute wait dragged on for three hours. Apparently, the initial driver the company sent our way disappeared. Just vanished. It was like the rapture came, and Jebus only took this one guy and his tow truck.
Maybe Jebus’s chariot had a faulty axel. Maybe Jebus needed a tow. Who knows!
I wish I could say that this is the first time someone I’m waiting on drops off the face of the Earth, but sadly, something similar happened to me at a tire place in Aventura. (You should read that review, too. It’s around here somewhere.)
I really can’t say this enough: THEY LOST THEIR DRIVER.
Mind you, we only learned of this after being told «It’ll be another 15 minutes» about ten times AND after receiving busy signals for about an hour after.
I mean… did they ever find him? Is he OK? Do they care?
Probably not.
If your car ever craps out on you and GoodFellas is your only option, just start walking and hope for the best.

This may rank as the worst experience I’ve ever had with a business in my entire life. How people like this stay in business is mind-​boggling to me.
I called BMW roadside assistance because I needed to have my car towed. They said they found someone, Goodfellas Towing, and they should arrive in 55 minutes. After an hour I called back and they said «15 more minutes». After about an hour and a half of waiting, I called back a third time and was told my driver was lost and he would give me a call. After a couple minutes with no call I decided to call the business directly and was told the same thing.
Flash forward to another 30 minutes later — no call from the driver, and no one picking up the contact number at Goodfellas either. Once someone finally answered, through BMW, they said that the lost driver had apparently dropped off the face of the earth and that they couldn’t even reach him. This guy was supposedly lost nearby for an ENTIRE HOUR. And now, maybe forever, because even his own employer has no idea what he’s doing when he’s supposedly working.
They dispatched someone else who would arrive in 10 minutes. 20 minutes later I’m still sitting here waiting for whatever other driver they managed to find.
Please, whatever you do, don’t use Goodfellas Towing. You’ll probably be rotting away somewhere before they actually figure out where your tow truck driver disappeared to. I should’ve walked home — it would’ve been faster and caused me a lot less stress than this nightmare.
EDIT: the driver who finally showed up was actually a really nice guy. I hope he finds a good job elsewhere…
