Nice place. Very big clean and organize. Friendly staff. Easy parking. You’re not going to find high end designer clothes here lol. But there are very affordable name brand items if you look. The prices are right too.

I love the new location across the street. Big, wide aisles, clean, and more new home goods donations(like from close-out retailers). It’s in our neighborhood, we go just to browse even with the little ones because it’s comfortable.

Unless it recently moved, the pictures you see on Unilocal are not this Goodwill. This Goodwill is in a large two story shopping center. Biscayne Shopping Plaza. Unlike other Goodwill Stores I have gone to, this one is the most complete with newer merchandise for today’s working person. Most of the clothes just need to be washed and you can wear them right away. Not many vintage items like others. Great selection of men and women’s jeans and plus sizes. I found two 90s shirts and a cool t-shirt with a phrase on it. Not a Goodwill I would drive to in search of that lucky vintage find. But, you never know what you find at these places…

Go here and save money. I’m a broke college graduate with over $ 15,000 in debt. I grew up in section 8 and drank powdered milk for most of my upbringing. So whenever I go here it brings me back to my roots. The mens clothing section is fairly well organized compared to the other goodwills I have visited [note: I shop at good will fairly often]. You can find some decent cloths here for a remarkably low price. I think because this place is off 79th and on the way to more upscale neighborhoods like North Bay Village, this place gets donations from more upper middle class folks than other places. I’ve bought several items here to include band new Kenneth Cole slacks, Armani Exchange slacks(slim cut), Polo dress shirts, and Tommy Bahama dress shirts. The size selection is limited. Obviously if you’re a common height and weight [For example: 5’10&170−180lbs] it might be a little difficult finding cloths that fit you right. This maybe simply because those cloths go tend to sell faster. If you’re of larger stature then this place might be the place for you. The staff here are friendly, however I will say they are constantly busy. So don’t expect much for personal one on one service. Others comments on the electronics or furniture/home gods selection are correct. There isn’t much options for home goods or furniture. So don’t expect much options with that. Other than that, I hope you find your experience here as useful as I have.

Meh, mostly womens clothing here. Almost no electronics or furniture/home goods. When i went there was zero vinyl records and probably 20 – 30 cds/dvds/video games that were picked through. Games were all old Xbox sports titles. :-\

Since the recent downfall of the Allapatah Goodwill to *dollar-store-mode*, with clothes, I have increased my visits to this location. It is small and things amy be a bit more of a hunt, but I always have good luck with clothes. This is one of the last Goodwill hold outs in Miami for little hidden treasures. Another big plus — you can walk in and drop your clothes and other give-a-ways off in the same store. It’s not the most organized store at times, but if you have the time, you are sure to score something sweet.

79th St. Goodwill is a goldmine for women’s clothing. There is good quality, brand name clothing for sale at reasonable prices. My theory is that wealthy people from Miami Beach drop off their donations here. Thanks! I almost always score something at 79th St. GW. Too bad they don’t sell gift cards, because I’d ask everyone to buy me one. They do, however, accept credit cards.
