If I could, I would give them ZERO stars, but that wasn’t an option. We’ve been customers for more than 20 years. But last month they tricked us into spending $ 350 for a one-​time lawn spray for which they had charged us $ 60 per spray for the same thing the year before. Because they refused to admit blame, and because they would not reduce the charge for a VERY LOYAL CUSTOMER, we cancelled our service. What kind of company treats a customer that way? Bye, bye Guarantee Floridian.

Avoid this company at all costs! I signed a tenting agreement a month prior to the tenting date with the North Miami branch of this company, apparently the main office of this company.
I checked with the sales agent five days prior to the tenting to ensure everything was on schedule.
After preparing the house by removing food and other items to friends and neighbors homes —
which is a very time consuming and formidable task — and finding a place to stay for two nights–
the company calls me on the day of tenting to cancel! I’ve had my home home tented multiple times in the past and have never experienced a same day cancellation. They said my house was too difficult to tent — outraged I asked to speak to a manager. He called many hours later and indicated the sales agent had not been honest with me. He stated the agent would call me me the next business day. Did that happen? No. I called many times during the week — each time I was promised someone would call me. Didn’t happen. Poor customer service is an understatement.
I wanted the company to make this right. If they have an internal employee problem that’s on the company. The proper company response would have been to waive the rest of the costs and tent the house as soon as possible to make up for the major inconvenience that resulted. They never offered any services to make this debacle, «right».
I never found out the real reason for the cancellation — the house was too dangerous { but not too dangerous to take and cash the deposit check}, they over booked their tenting crew, I received conflicting stories.
Finally, I requested my deposit back and did receive it weeks later.
Stay away from this company!

Rude and unprofessional. I called to follow up on a quote that I received a few weeks ago, and find out how soon I can schedule the tenting. Jorge returns my call with, «What’s up?» When I explain, he says, «So, what’s your question?» In a very rude and condescending tone.
I’d rather pay more and deal with professionals.

Horrible. The most dishonest and incompetent termite company we have ever used. Disrespectful crew and management were no better when we contacted them after our job went terribly from start to finish. Lots of indignation and excuses and blaming of everyone else. Not sure who is running the show, but they seem to have no real boss. Told he lives in «Europe». As business owners ourselves we were shocked at the lack of care and lack of desire to make anything right. Moreover, we still have termites and they are trying to not stand by their guarantee They will try to make up all sorts of reasons why the termites are still there and how it’s not their fault. Save yourself a headache and go elsewhere.

One star is too generous. We have been using them for years for sub terranian termite control .in the fall my Gardner pulled one of the traps up and showed me that there was just dirt and weeds In the monitor .no wood at all. .basically I was paying $ 250 a year for monitoring a useless device. they replaced them all which should have been done routinely over the years. I got nothing but rudeness when I complained and said I should receive a credit. Others in my area are complaining that they were not even getting the monitoring at all… this company is not trustworthy and I would never use them again,

I think a one star is to generous as a rating for this company. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE!!! My house was tented in 2006 and then in April 2012 I had the liquid treatment done only to find out today that my house is still being eaten by termites. I called to speak to the General Manager and some «account manager» said he had the «authority» to handle the situation but wouldn’t do anything for me. Horrible service!

Negative stars!!! Don’t use this company. Their billing & scheduling is screwed up & the customer gets penalized and overcharged as a result! I signed up for a 1 year contract. They came back one month before my contract was over and now they say I owe them $ 48 for the 7^th visit because my contract only covers 6 visits. They called me to schedule all services and now they are telling me that I owe them money for service that was supposed to be included in my 1 year contact? Then don’t lie to me when selling me the service and tell me that it is a 1 year contract — say it is for 6 visits and 6 visits only!!! They are crooks. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

Being using these guys for about 10yrs. Not the cheapest pricing, but reasonable. More important then that… they do a good job and are always responsive when I call. We used them for Indoor/​outdoor basic bug spray + specialized lawn treatment. On my 3^rd technician over 3 years… all have been very nice people. I trust them.

This company left my property trashed: sand and dirt all over, pieces of tape and their lunch garbage and Cuban coffee cups all over. Both their job supervisor and chief inspector said, when I showed him all the sand and garbage, said «This is the nature of the business.» He also said that a prep page he left me said that there would be sand, dirt etc. left over afterwards for me to clean up, which is total B.S. Stay clear of this outfit; they are 2 bit slobs.

We needed to tent our house as we had a problem with termites. To tent the house they appeared on time and the team building the tent was very fast. The technician arrived a little later. We walked through the building and I removed every additional item he pointed out. He told me we could be back in our house the day after, after 5pm and we left. He took my details and said he would call me in case of problems
The next day I called the company at 4pm and a rude operator told me that there is no chance we could go back into the house. She wanted to reach the technician. To cut long story short: nobody called us back. I was not able to find a hotel as we have two dogs and after 6pm it was not possible to find something. We had to sleep in the car.
Next day I called again, and the same arrogant operator answered: «I told you already, it is your problem, you should have read the papers. You have to wait until we open your property again». I asked for a manager who never picked up the phone and also never called back.
Here is my problem: the technician should have been honest with us and the company supportive. They could not care less which hurts if you are on the street and you depend on them.
Never again!

They started off okay. The technician was polite, friendly and prompt with appointment times. He would call, make an APPOINTMENT and then show up for said appt. Once he was done, I would sign off and give him a check for the service.
Then they changed technicians. I guess that it it is just easier for them to claim that they sprayed outside and try to charge me for no service. I KNOW for a fact that they never serviced because a) I work from home and I’m here most of the time and b) our Rottie hangs out in the back during the day and I can guarantee that if anyone walked in, I would hear his objections and possibly the guy crying!
After calling them to object about being billed for no service and their bold face lying, they claimed that they would call me back. About three months later, still no call. Instead, this Saturday at 7:45AM my doorbell rings and not only wakes up the dog, but the entire family on our only sleep in day! To say that I was livid is an understatement. He kept claiming that there was a balance and if we wanted service. Seriously? I am done with you. I only hire honest companies. You try to steal my money and your’re out. Period. Give me your home address and I’ll pay you a visit next Sunday at 6AM, how bout that?

When my wife and I bought our house in 2004, there was signs of termite damage so we decided to tent the house before moving in. After getting 3 quotes from local and national companies, we felt best about going with Guarantee Floridian.
After the initial tenting, we opted for the yearly warranty agreement — they’ll send out an inspector if we notice any evidence of termites (wings, droppings, etc) and will send a crew to spot treat the area. If it’s bad enough, they will re-​tent the house. Living in South Florida, termites kind of come with the territory when the house was built in the 1940’s.
Over the years, we have done a few spot treatments and the crew have been polite and tidy with their work. In 2010, we had to tent the house again. It had been too many years since the last tenting and the inspector recommended it over another attempt at spot treating.
Everything has been covered under the warranty and we have been happy enough with their service to recommend them to others. Also, the cost of the yearly warranty has saved us money if you look at the cost of multiple spot treatments and another full house tenting.
I do not have any experience with their other services but their termite control has been great.

I originally used this company for my termite tenting a few years back. They did a good job and even came back on follow-​up issues. I decided to hire them for my monthly pest control and was very satisfied with their performance and results. A little more than a year ago they informed me that they would be doing less spraying for more money. Basically they would show up less and spray with a stronger chemical. I went along with this and things seem to really get worst. The breaking point was they stopped calling to schedule an appointment and would just show up and spray the outside. The final issue was they showed up unexpectedly and got my 16 year old Son who was leaving to sign off on the outside spraying. I sent them a check for the total amount owed and explained that I was not satisfied with the service and if they feel it is just to deposit my check just do so. I never received a call or even a letter in the mail offering up anything. I since canceled the service. This company was great at one time however the service has gone downhill. I would suggest you look around before doing business with them or at least make sure you get what you paid for.
