We try to stay at Hamptons as we travel around the country but, this was our first time to stay here. We found a great deal on Hilton points for a 1 night stay so we figured it must be an older location. We were pleasantly surprised and pleased when we arrived to find it was older but, was almost like new. I checked in using the Hilton App but, went to the desk to check in anyway. The room was very modern and clean with all the appointments. Most importantly there was a fresh clean duvet cover on the bed. The breakfast area was bright and the food was fresh, hot if you wanted it, and delicious. As long as they have the make it yourself waffles I’m a Happy Camper. The Hostess was very friendly and helpful and made sure all the food was kept fresh, full and the coffee hot. We will definitely go back if we travel to this area again in the future.

Extremely thin walls. With ear plugs, you can hear next door guests going to washroom. Doors slam hard and can hear everything above you. Really clean. Friendly staff. Good breakfast and cookies at night.

Typical Hampton Inn… they tend to be consistent as to décor and amenities… at least the ones I have stayed in lately. I had some work in the area and decided to stay the night to participate in some of the recreational activity in the area. One thing I wanted to say and compliment about this place was the friendliness of the staff!!! It definitely makes a difference to me traveling. From front desk, to housekeeping staff in halls, to breakfast staff… everyone I encountered was friendly, accommodating and willing to give advice on the area. Directions, etc. If I have any complaint at all, it would just be the water pressure in the highest floor room(only 3 floors) and the fiberglass shower insert. It was too low pressure and the floor insert was loose. Needed some maintenance to me. But that is being pretty picayune. The stay itself was very, very nice.

I am giving this hotel 3 stars only because of the woman at the desk when I checked in. She was very kind and answered a few questions I had. Now for the room… Shower head dripping… tink…tink…tink…(I was going to call and ask for a different room but I was to tired.) Mold on the shower door rails… gross Seemed a little dirty. Just needs a good wipe down. The person above me was so loud. After the noisy neighbor settled into bed I finally got to sleep too. I don’t think I would stay there again. I didn’t eat the breakfast. I was on the road by 5am.

This is why I should only stay at the Hampton Inn. I have an expectation and it is always met. Customer service is top notch.

Usual place to stay when in town on business, most recent visit is now my third. The good: room clean with appropriate toiletries, easy check-in, adjustable ac/heat in each room; plenty of plug in/charge points in room is a big plus; breakfast OK, cookies after 5pm are great. The questionable: upstairs bath leak can be heard dripping below, staff said if water not visible it was not a concern; rooms have walk in showers only; room door does not always close completely, you have to check it to make it not stay ajar or risk coming back and finding your room not closed/locked; toilet often requires flushing twice and sink in bathroom very slow draining which staff said was«just the way they are»; in room WiFi availability requires log in, sometime multiple log in during same day or even while working online. The bad: don’t plan on killing time watching TV in room as only limited channel are available; room has HBO flyer in the room but neither HBO or any other premium movie channels are available; TV channel flyer from front desk incorrect; no NBC broadcast or cable channels are available; they are on the TV channel guide on channel 2 but 30% of channels listed are not available or are black. Mentioned this to front desk first visit, they were not aware of this. Mentioned it again this visit and was told that this was a problem with their cable provider, not with them. Although all channels listed in TV channel guide on channel 2 are available on the TV in lobby/breakfast room.

The staff was very friendly. Room was good for the price and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was good for a hotel breakfast with plenty of warm options. Waffles, omelettes, sausage, oatmeal and more. Would definitely stay again if I were passing through.

Lots of good to say. AAA Discount is always helpful and appreciated. Room was considered clean until before departing I checked under the bed and found a Reese’s Pieces(we didn’t bring it!) The staff was very friendly and breakfast was perfect, but then again I’m a stay at home mom. Any breakfast I didn’t have to cook and clean up is the best there is. Finally the bad. We selected this hotel because of the indoor pool When we went to the pool there was a note saying that the heater wasn’t working.(This was early May and to say the least the pool was quite frigid.) Upon speaking to another family who stays there quite often they stated that the pool is never fully operational and it’s just what they have become to expect. I didn’t complain, but I do feel that the rate I paid was for full amenities and therefor should have received such… A heads up from the staff and an apology would have been appreciated too.

This hotel is still quite new. The staff is kind and the rooms are clean(for the most part). All I am looking for when I just need a place to lay my head on my work travels. I have run across a few… interesting…individuals in my visits here. There was the front desk attendant with a few teeth missing from her grill, who sort of made me feel as if I was interrupting her conversation with that… well, whoever that guy was loitering by the desk. The she proceeded to STARE at me while I selected a bottle of water from the Suite Shop to charge to my room. The time before that I tried to report to the front desk there was a stray dog wandering the premises(who I thought was going to get into my car with me). When I told her, the answer was: «Oh yeah, that’s ___(let’s say Gus), the repairman’s dawg.» Hmm. okay, is he staying here too? All that said, it is by FAR the best selection around! In quality and distance.
