My mother is Dr. Hilda Jimenez. I admit this may seem biased, but I am probably best qualified to rate her as a professional since she has been treating my teeth for as long as I remember. She is an excellent dentist and beyond that she is an even more excellent person. She is ethical, with a kind disposition and she is as prepared as a professional in her field could possibly be. I have watched her throughout the years study countless hours beyond the mere general qualifications that are necessary for a dentist. Any person would be lucky to have a person with her care and expertise work on her teeth. It’s because of her that I am currently a law student at UM and I strive to have those same qualities which I have watched her exercise diligently throughout my life. But no need to take my word for it go once and see for yourselves.

Dr. Jimenez is a great dentist. She has been my dentist since I was a little girl, and she has always been professional and kind to me throughout each and every individual dental visit. I recently went to her for a dental check up and she did a wonderful dental job on my teeth. I am glad to see that she is still the great dentist that she has always been!!!

During my last visit, I encounter a few problems with this dentist office. I had only made an appointment for cleaning and when I arrived I was told I needed a filling. Then, they did a periodontal check without my consent. I am not sure I will be back.

I went to this dentist a few times, last time was for a root canal. After 5 months, I had to go to an endodontist because I was in much pain. Ms Jimenez had not removed all the nerves, two were still there and had gotten infected. The endodontist had to pierce through the crown and work on me for 3.5 more hours(and I thought I was done with it), and it cost me more than a thousand dollars. Also, she is very rough mannered and not smooth in her demeanor.

When I look for a dentist, I look for 3 things: 1) No hairy hands 2) Good demeanor. 3) Tolerable waiting room. It’s also an amusing bonus that this dentistry is located right next to a bakery(all those sugary treats!). The dentist, herself, had a relatively gentle touch and, during a routine cleaning, found I had developed 2 cavities(!!!). I have really bad luck with my teeth is all I can say. She treated them in a follow up appointment. The locale was convenient to my apartment, thus how I found her. Most of her staff speaks Spanish if you were wondering but you should be able to find someone who can communicate with you if you have indepth questions(aside from the dentist herself).
