The most wonderful magical fabric shop ever and I include NYC in that! The staff was also sweet and very helpful. If you love fabric you will think you died and went to heaven!!!

This is the best couture level fabric store in the southeast… I shopped this week and had no need to shop other stores. Staff is knowledgeable and so much fun talking about early days of store. Isa Couture has been open for decades and I remember getting excellent service over 20 years ago. I believe original location opened back in 60’s on Biscayne. Valentino, Ungaro fabrics and more in a very organized setting. Ask to see boucles and wools upstairs for full range. I shop in Paris and have found comparable selvedged designers at much lower prices here in Miami. You need to ask for prices. This is not a bargain emporium, no bins to dig through if that is your thing. Come here for top quality silks, linens, bold piques and Woolens. Extensive bridal fittings. Prices are at high points but quality is deserving. If you are a novice seamstress please visit and tell staff you are learning about quality fabrics… I did this year’s ago and feel completely comfortable shopping here today. Staff is extremely helpful without being overbearing. Note, parking is on-street, store appears dark from exterior. Enter gate and ring bell for entry. Very high end design district just a few blocks north but this is an urban location that is peaceful and quiet… worth driving a couple of blocks west of Biscayne.

I recently had to purchase fabric for a couture gown I am having made. This being the first time I have ventured to do this I searched the web to find my best option for fabric purchases. Isa Couture did not let me down. I drove 2 hours from Palm Beach and I’d do it again in a heartbeat. The selection if fabrics was significant, but it was the service that was really stellar. Masielle was patient, knowledgable and quick to smile – which made my 2 hour time shopping and ruminating a very pleasant experience. I can’t say enough about how friendly and helpful everyone was. Planning on posting photos of my gown on their Facebook page. After reading the reviews of other places, Isa Couture stood out and I am SO glad I made the trek and put my faith in Unilocal

i would venture to say this is one of thes best fabric stores in miami. as a soon-to-be-bride there is a lot of need for fabrics. bridesmaids dresses, flower girl dresses, my moms dress, plus i will possibly be making a bridal shower and rehearsal dinner dress as well. i shopped around at several well known places and after lots of disappointments, rude or pushy, indifferent or way too opinionated sales people i was feeling deflated. until i found isa coutrue. the people there are SO nice, they actually want to help you and go the extra mile. they give ideas without being naggy or pushy. they show you different types of fabrics and will walk you around the whole store until you are happy with what you are buying. the prices are very fair considering the quality you get. yes there are cheaper places(there are also way more expensive). but here you get more than just fabric, you get service.

Considering that Miami is not a «fashion capital,» Isa Couture has a decent selection of high end fabrics. If I were in New York, I wouldn’t give a store this size second thought, but you take what you can get when you’re outside of the city. If you’re lucky, you might come across a bolt of fabric from the current Cavalli or Emanuel Ungaro collection. However, they get very small deliveries, so if you see something you like, you have to act quickly before it sells out. The staff is friendly and helpful. They know where to look when you ask for something specific. Plus, they have a tin of cookies for customers!
