So I had my follow up and again I had no issues with the staff(both times that I went was on a Friday if that’s any help). I was in for a fiber optic endoscopy(I wanted to see if he could do anything about my singing voice). The procedure took about 5 minutes tops! Not a good thing… He was way too fast! By the time I was driving home was when I actually felt the throat anesthetic spray working. Since I actually had things to do(and I wasn’t injured) I didn’t mind the speed but for future reference he’s the last person on earth getting near my mouth again. (By the way the singing voice thing was a joke… turns out late night munchies gives you acid reflux in your sleep!)

We have never had a problem with the doctor, however his office staff is terrible. Unfortunately to get to the doctor, you have to endure the incompetence at the front desk first. I gave 3 stars, because I actually like Dr. Font, but he needs to do something about the bratty little girls working the desk and making appointments, this includes his surgery scheduler. He would have much better ratings if he did something about his staff!

I don’t know what it is about doctors and their office staff that makes them think their time is more valuable than the patients who keep them in business. I attempted to establish a new patient account with Dr. Font this afternoon but was unable to do so thanks to a major lack of consideration on the part of his staff. My appointment for this afternoon was scheduled about two weeks ago but nobody bothered to call and inform me that he would be in surgery today and unable to see new patients. I arrived at the office to find it locked and when I called and one of the office assistants opened the door, she did not so much as offer an apology with her notification that I would not be able to see the doctor. According to her, I must have«given the wrong contact number» when I scheduled the appointment because they called everyone to advise of the cancellations. I am confident that what they lacked was not the right number but rather the desire to do the right thing by notifying me that I would need to reschedule. Even a simple«I’m sorry you came over here for nothing» would have sufficed but to neglect apologizing and then add insult to injury by implying that I was at fault was definitely over the top. First impression are important and if that is the way his office handles things, there is no need to continue further. Total waste of time and energy.
