THIEVES!!! BEWARE!!! We order from this location all the time in our offfice. On June 2nd, Ajah took my phone order. 2 sandwiches $ 18. Simple enough. Till I got home and realized that over $ 400 was taken from my account… bunch of online transactions soon after the jimmy johns transaction. So I call corporate and they refer me to Brian the regional manager who then takes the issue to Matt the owner of this store who calls me and basically tells me that it wasn’t his employee he wasn’t investigating it and to call the cops if I so desired but he wasn’t doing anything that it could’ve been taken from any other place. Yes that’s the only transaction I had made in 2 days. Not only will never order from here again I will boycott the entire damn organization. Be careful with your credit cards… these thieves will take it in a heart beat and their supervisors won’t do a damn thing about it. #determinedtoshutthemdown

Jimmy johns is always fresh and uses quality meats and products. Ive previously tried their subs and i love that they use Boars head meats. Today i went a different route and ordered the lettuce tuna wrap as a healthier option. Although it was quite messy sauce dripping from the lettuce wrap, the combination of tuna salad, tomatoes, cucumber and lettuce is refreshing and delicious.

This spot is so convenient for UM/JMH employees as well as for our patients that visit the medical campus. Before this Jimmy John’s opened in civica I had never tried their subs. After having them quiet often now I am a fan. Service is pretty quick and the ingredients have been fresh. ***Greatly appreciated the $ 1.00 customer appreciation sub today. Thanks.

If there was such thing as a negative star this franchise would be happily given them… who owns this establishment??? Up charge 1.50 guac spread and one piece of turkey? Not acceptable! I used to love their sammies… but shameful! I was sitting in ER all day & when I could finally eat so excited to just have a good sammie booooo…:(

The sandwiches are fast and hit the spot. Unfortunately the service is not just bad, on a number of separate occasions I felt that they were rude. One time I ordered on the phone for delivery, zero customer service skills. After completing my order the girl said ‘is that it?’ and when I said yes, she literally hung up on me. I was shocked. She didn’t say how long it would be or give me the total amount, or give any indication the phone call would be ending lol. I had to call back because I needed an eta so i could coordinate with my lunch break. I called back, the girl answered my questions but her attitude left me regretting ordering at all. I’ve ordered in store on other occasions(when they’re not busy) and felt that the staff genuinely don’t like serving customers. I don’t expect a lot in terms of service, it is a sandwich shop, but common courtesy at the very least would be nice! I swear I’m never going back to this location, the manager here needs to deal with his staff’s attitude towards customers.

Some of the people are extremely rude. I had a lady give me nasty looks and attitude when I asked for mustard or mayonnaise. The employees(not all but the majority) are concerned only with themselves and their conversations. I have been here multiple times and experience the same problem. The employees will talk to amongst themselves and ignore the customer. I also cannot believe how expensive a pickle is. Sandwiches are not great at all. The lettuce bun on the tuna sandwich is wet and the moisture drips out when you try and eat it. I only eat here because I’m sick of eating everywhere else. It is fast yes but the employees need major work on their attitude and customer service.

I had heard good things about these sandwiches but my first experience was disappointing. I ordered the #17 Ultimate Porker. The bread was tough. I’m not sure if it was stale or that’s just how their bread is. & it was so unbearably salty I had to take some meat out.

This store has delivered to my location several a ton. I love less than ¾ miles away so it’s normally quick and convenient. This past Sunday I placed a order only to have if cancel by the manager who said my address was outside of the corporate delivery range(my place is across the street from their supposed border) so the driver need to turn around. This company would rather throw food away than serve a customer. There is a ton of places to get a sandwich. I’d rather take my money to those who value their customers.

I love jimmy johns but I’m pretty disappointed in this location. When I’ve called a few times, the workers that answer are having conversations in the background and laughing. I feel they need to be more professional when on the phone I’ve gone in person to pick up sandwiches and I’ve had them delivered. When I’ve picked them up, I expect my sandwiches to be made really fast(because that’s what jimmy johns is known for), but they take forever to prepare it & usually it’s right before work when I need it on a time crunch. Pretty irritating. Hopefully they improve over time seeing as this is a pretty new location.

So the cashier tells me that the Italian Night Club is big enough for two, but clearly not. Then they forget the pickles my boyfriend ordered. Staff not on point. Sandwich was good however, but now 2 hours later and a hungry again. blah

I needed a quick cater at 12pm today for 10 people. Spoke with Matt on the phone at 11am and he took care of everything. He said it would be ready by 12pm. The place was slammed when I got there and thought«here we go, its not going to be ready». I asked to speak to Matt. Matt rolled out with my platter, chips, napkins and receipt. I was out the door and on time for my lunch. Use Jimmy Johns if your doing lunch in the Miami Health district. Great job Matt, the Lab loved it!

This place just opened near me and I must say, that you can’t go wrong with whatever sandwich you choose. The ingredients are very fresh and so is the bread. The bread(french style) is just perfect for subs, soft and fresh. I must agree with some of the reviewers that the customer service is the only negative of this place. The cashier never greets and expects you to not stutter or make a mistake. This place is fast though, so you will not have to wait for your sandwich more than a few minutes.

I’m not familiar with the chain, so I can’t comment on the differences between this(pretty small) location vs. others. I’ve ordered from here several times now, and haven’t had any issues. The employees are always very friendly, and the food is a nice step up from the other prevalent sub chain. Note that there is very limited indoor seating at this location, although there is some shared seating outside. Not quite a 5 star location, the selection of ingredients is OK but not great, and the price is a little on the high side for a simple sub(although not exactly out of line for the location).

After hearing so much about the sandwiches at Jimmy Johns, I was looking forward to tasting one at this new location in Cívica. This was my first visit and I was unfamiliar with the choices. I felt a bit rushed to place my order and could not get a clear answer about the length and different pricing of the sandwiches. It was suggested I choose a #9 Italian Night Club with double meat. I’m not sure if it’s standard for the sandwich to come with double meat or you have to ask for it. The sandwiches are constantly being prepared by a line of employees. This makes the wait very short. The sandwich looked and tasted fresh. The French /Cuban bread was soft and appetizing. The flavors of all the meats come through crisply. The double meat claim did not hold water. Specialy since roughly a quater of the sandwich was nothing but bread. Might be an over sight due to grand opening jitters. I wil reserve judgment until my second sandwich.

Had to pick 1 star in order to write a review. I work nearby and we were excited to order. So far we have ordered delivery several times. The first time, the ingredients in the sandwiches were incorrect. Including an unwich with hot peppers after we ordered the hot peppers on the side. Another time, we ordered 5 sandwiches and 3 were wrong. We called and it took the restaurant 3 delivery attempts to delivery and sending back each wrong sandwich because the manager asked that we return them for inventory and training purposes. The manager also said the store was new and they had a high turn over and that was why they were making so many mistakes. The last time, I ordered 2 of the same sandwiches; 1 of them an unwich and the other a sub. I got the unwich and the other sub was totally off. To begin with, the order taker answered the phone with«Hello» when I called and I asked him if I was calling Jimmy John’s. Then while I was placing the order, he kept answering«yeah, yeah» while talking to someone in the background. The sub was wrong. I called and the manager couldn’t pick up the phone because according to the same order taker«he was busy making sandwiches». I complained and he said they would send the correct sandwich. An hour later, i called back to ask where the sandwich was since my 30 minute lunch break was almost over and finally was able to speak to the manager. The manager Julio apologized and said he would void my ticket and credit my account once the delivery guy returned. 2 hours after the initial order was placed, the order taker showed up to deliver the sandwich. As he walked in he said«you know it is not my fault right? It is the fault of the organization». We didn’t even know what to respond. We were in shock that he would make such a statement. Needless to say, the ticket was not voided. I went online and filled out a complaint and received a call from«Jimmy» in Illinois. He is the training manager for the region. He was very apologetic and said he would make sure the transaction was voided. Negative. 1 week later and the transaction is still not voided. I called«Jimmy» in Illinois and he has not returned my phone call. I called Julio, the manager at this location, and he said he did not void the transaction because the delivery guy never gave him the ticket and he would reimburse me from his pocket. Additionally, he has received a lot of complaints about the order taker/delivery guy. Luckily, I received a $ 10 gift card from the corporate office in Illinois. I guess it is better than nothing. Since I was charged $ 24.40 the last time for the over 2 hour delivery. RIDICULOUS! We will not order from Jimmy John’s ever again. Extremely disappointing since I do love their unwiches. The food is good and the prices are reasonable. I like having the different choices of bread. This location does not have all of the toppings like other locations do. I sometimes like sprouts on my sandwich, but they don’t have them at this one. When ordering in advance everything is made quickly and is ready for pick up before you arrive which is nice not having to wait. Delivery is quick, but I do find it to be slightly absurd to have to pay a delivery charge per item instead of a general delivery charge added to the order total. One of the 3 – 4 times I have ordered from this location my order was wrong. It’s not the delivery boy’s fault that he had to come back 2 times after the original delivery. The employees making the sandwiches need to pay more attention to what they are doing and what they are placing in the bags. Not quite sure how you read tuna when the order says turkey? I can only assume it was the manager who picked up the phone when I called to complain. He was very apologetic about everything. He even offered to remake my sandwich himself to ensure it would be done correctly. Other than that the food is great and this is in a very convenient location. At first I was going to give only 1 star, but the delivery boy is fast and it’s not his fault the order was wrong, and the manager corrected the situation in a timely manner, so I upped the stars a bit.

I’m going through a sandwich phase, so I was pretty excited when they opened up a Jimmy John’s in a convenient location for me. I had read a lot about the chain and the delicious sandwiches, but I had never really tried it until last week. When I walked in to the location, I walked up to the cashier to place my order. They were not very friendly, and being my first time there I wasn’t really sure how things worked. I ordered the Beach Club. The sandwich itself was actually really good and fresh. The bread is tasty and the salad crunchy, I really enjoyed it. However, they should be a bit more generous with the turkey. The sour part of my experience was because of the customer service. I did not know that I could order a different bread instead of the standard white bread. I was rushed to order by the cashier, and I wasn’t even offered the option. I really didn’t feel welcome.
