I wanted to eat in the restaurant but I noticed the place is so dirty. We actually just left the place. First impression of the place is… I don’t think they clean the place. Huh hmmmm. No! Thank you.

Jin Jin is located in an unassuming Publix strip mall next to what I call«the crappy Subway». It’s your token Chinese take out joint. I usually order the chicken mei fun and they’re one of the few places that really make it spicy how I like it. The prices are pretty good and the delivery is usually really quick. I tend to do pick up because I’m close to the restaurant.

Sorry, but I’ve gotta be honest. We live in the neighborhood and wanted some Chinese food delivered. Jin-Jin had left a flyer on our door so we thought we’d give ‘em a try. A better decision would have been to just skip eating. We ordered the«Family A.» It came within about 30 mins. However, what came to our door was: clumpy, dry(old?) white rice(that alone should have told me all I needed to know); fried food(egg rolls, crab Rangoon, s/s chicken, etc) that was cooked in old, dirty oil making it taste and look disgusting; general tso chicken and orange chicken that were EXACTLY the same(including the old oil taste) with some hot sauce added to the tso; sweet and sour chicken that was covered under a plastic lid so when it arrived it was soggy and gross; crab Rangoon that was little more than a hollow pastry with the remnants of a filling hiding in a corner; and finally won ton soup that had large tasteless won tons swimming in slightly flavored water. Literally, not a single bite was tasty. It was all nasty, processed food that was thrown together with no skill and shipped to us with no care. I know, it sounds bad. It probably even sounds like I’m picking on them. But really, it was just that bad. The whole family agreed before a single plate was finished that we’d all be better off just tossing it out. So we did. I have NO idea how what we had delivered could be from the same restaurant described in some of the more favorable reviews! In the end, it’s always up to you. Just remember, you’ve been warned. Bad, Jin-Jin! Bad!

I am not big on chinese take out but we were all starving and wanted to order something fast that would feed many(no one wanted pizza). Gave this place a call, food was ready in 15 minutes! Ordered family meal«A», $ 26 bucks for a ton of food. I got the wonton soup, crab wontons(they give you two orders, one free —- yum), noodles, steak and onions, and general Tao chicken, along with vegetable fried rice. I only ate the veggie rice as I don’t eat red meat or poultry. The rice was just ok. It had some weird looking veggies, prime example, a little miniature looking corn shaped as regular big corn. My family enjoyed the remaining of the food, my husband particularly liked the general tao chicken, he said that the sauce was very flavorful. I picked up the food(ordered carry out). A bit hard to communicate with person on phone, as his English was so-so, but still, he got order right. At for the look of the place, not a place I would enjoy having a sit down meal, it does the trick for to-go food, I guess. I give it 4 starts as it was affordable and my family really liked the food, personally, I am not a fan, then again, I’ve never been a fan of this type of carry out food.

Overall it was a good take-out dinner. The actual location is an eye sour so next time I will just ask for delivery. The food was good and the leftovers were just as good. I think the price is average.

Jin Jin used to be the place in town. I moved out of South Florida and on my visit back figured I would hit Jin Jin. The food was mediocre, the place was a bit let go, and the service was less than stellar. Let me just say that I was told to wait on the phone while they where fighting in the background while trying to place my order. Maybe it was an off day so I would try it again just in case.

For as low as the prices are, Jin Jin really comes through in generous portions and taste. I recommend going for the lunch special which ends at 3:30(not sure when it starts) because you get the same large portion, which is also accompanied by an eggroll and soup for only $ 5. Foodwise, i would say their General Tso’s chicken and orange chicken are top notch and a good recommendation for a first-timer. If you like lo-mein, i strongly suggest to get it in place of the rice, you won’t be disappointed. Happy eating!

Never been disappointed. Had them deliver a couple times and they were always on time or very early. Take out is very quick also if you call ahead. I’ve never ordered at the restaurant and waited. Large portions and cheap.

I’ve come to this place a couple of times in the past and was always satisfied with my experience. I made orders for delivery as the place itself is small and since they’re speaking Chinese all the time, I’m self-conscious that they’re talking about how I’m eating my food or something mean *cue mean girls scenario* Any who, my boyfriend was looking for a place to eat tonight and since he’s been craving Chinese food and the nearest one to our place is Jin Jin I suggested it. He ordered the Fried Wonton and the Szechuan Chicken Dinner Combo which also comes with Fried Rice, Egg Roll and a Soup(he chose Wonton). With all my awesome Unilocaling activity, well let’s just say he’s learned a thing or two:(his words) «It’s hitting the spot but I’ve had better… the rice is just ok… the chicken isn’t too spicy and the fried wontons are eh.» He also mentioned how the portions were quite large. So there you have it! It’s not terrible and it’s not great. Eat at your own risk.
