Your standard Jo-Ann. I have had good experiences here and haven’t had to wait long for cutting or check out. I will say though, you will have an easier time if you have questions if you ask them in spanish ;-)

This store is nice because it’s usually empty, but the service sucks. Every time I come here, there are only a handful of people in the store; could be because I go weekdays after 6pm. That isn’t a bad thing because it’s also the only Jo-Ann Fabric that does not have 10 people in line before you to have fabric cut. So I either am first or second in line, score! The service at this location is horrendous. Half the time no one is at the checkout counter, so you have to wait or flag someone down. You may get a Spanish only speaking woman at the cutting counter who looks angrily at you because she doesn’t understand what«one yard» means. Last time I checked, we are still in the United States… and I don’t understand how some stores employ people that blatantly do not speak English. If it weren’t for the fast service at the cutting counter, I would not come here as often.

NEVERAGAINHERE! I went today looking for blackout fabric, I wanted 4 panels(42′‘X84”) each. I got the WORSTSERVICEEVER! The lady that was supposed to be at the station was NOT there for a while so I had to go ask the front cashier to call her. After she came she just told me that she COULDN’T cut the fabric to the size I needed! We don’t do that, she said. Then I asked for the manager of course. VICTOR, the manager, then came. SUPERRUDE this guy, backing up the employee at all times, not providing a solution at all! He even went and said he could do me a FAVOR and cut them after I pay, what?! A FAVOR?! No way. I went to this store not long and bought the very same thing, it was great. The two ladies that were there the first time were amazing, they helped me find the product, and cut it right as I needed it. So it’s not your store it’s your people now! I hope I get some positive feedback because otherwise I’m not going back ever and I’ll make sure I’ll let everyone I can know about my experience.

Horrible service! Waiting to get my fabric cut for 20 minutes with nobody available to help. I was one of two customer in the store since I was there since opening! When I finally go to check out after having to cut the fabric myself the young girl tells me I have to go back and get a receipt. She then takes her time measuring the fabric on purpose and leaves me at the register another 15 minutes because she’s too busy counting the register! I advice you to go to Hobby Lobby or buy the fabric online if possible. Will never go to this location again!

The store has about everything you need… except that the customer service is a hit or miss. It all depends on who you get. Some employees need a little bit more tact when speaking to the customers.

So i want to convert my pretty sparkly Lush curtains into black out curtains because waking up at 5 am is so over rated. I do not have a sewing machine and I do not sew however after watching some you tubes I thought well it cant be that hard so off to Jo Ann’s I go. I walked in and the store is huge like a little overwhelming for a newbie like me but the sales lady was super helpful. She pointed me in the right direction to pick out black out drapes and was nice enough to cut them into the size i needed. Sure her first language was Spanish and mine is English but we communicated fine. I asked a bunch of questions she answered everything i asked and helped me find everything I needed to start my drape making adventure. Oh and making your own is pretty easy(especially if you have a sewing machine :() looks better then buying them and is so much cheaper! I have huge windows I saved around 300 $. That being said I haven’t actually made them yet but I will this weekend and post pics I promise!
