I usually get my oil changed at Midas near Wywood, but they always seem to jack up the oil change price each time. When I scheduled an oil change online at Midas last time, I got call that I would have to wait two hours for my appointment and it would be $ 70 this time (compared to $ 50 from last time I got my oil change there.) Ridiculous. So I decided to give Jose Auto Service a try, since I live close by.
Jose’s Auto Service was an awesome! They took in my truck with no wait. They were extremely fast — took 15mins to change my oil and he charged me $ 42. Yes, this is a mom and pop auto shop on NE 2nd Ave — located between Design District /​Buena Vista and Little Haiti. But it’s a great neighborhood auto service — FAR better than franchised Midas. I will definitely go back here again.
