This review isn’t for J’s it’s deserving of their next door competitor ‘The Shop’ which happens to be the ideal spot to contract a bacteria in this case ringworm. Although the talent at ‘the shop’ is satisfactory with minimal fuck-ups prior to now along with it being in close proximity to my place, being unsanitary and inconsiderate of the well-being of their loyal customers is more than enough to compel me to officially sever all relationships with this place. They do not sanitize their tools or at the very least disinfect them by washing and or soak them in isopropyl rubbing alcohol 91% which shouldn’t be difficult to obtain since they’re located near a wallgreens and a family discount store which definitely carries this particular alcohol for no more than $ 3 but clearly their goal isn’t establishment of longevity with returning customers. There’s really no reason for me to single out the barber I believed to be trustworthy because No One their works by the creed ‘Tools That Are Sanitized Leaves Customers Satisfied’. BTW I’ve never been to J’s but honestly I sincerely have no desire to mainly because it’s just too close for home & their guilty by association.

Évaluation du lieu : 3 North Miami, FL
With a lot of options around the area, J’s Barbershop is where I consistently go. Any male from Miami is acutely aware of how painful the struggle of finding a barber who fits your style can be. On top of that, one must figure out if the shop the particular barber works in, is a place you won’t mind spending hours every month. My barber here is Chee, and he has cut my hair consistently and to the same high standard every time. I get a skin fade 0 – 1, and his line ups are on point. I would easily give him 4 stars. The shop itself is predominantly Haitian American so be prepared to hear a lot of creole spoken amongst the other barbers. Chee himself though is always friendly and takes part in engaging conversation with all his customers, a trait of every good barber! Relatively small, there is a line of chairs along one wall directly opposite the barbers stations. Chee’s chair is the closest to the door where you enter from the parking lot. I give the shop 3 stars, due to the fact that if my particular barber was not here I would certainly head elsewhere.
