Great little spot for lunch or morning coffee. Good value and walking distance from any of the major attractions, offices and hotels in downtown or brickell. Guava Pastelitos are highly recomended.

I don’t normally have coffee, and when I do, I try the best coffee and it was the cuban coffee they offered here. It was just perfect. And to add to that they have fresh squeezed orange juice. You can see them making the juice from the counter. Then there is of course the food. *Huevos Rancheros — I kinda wish I ordered, but my fiancé ordered and it was tender and juicy. She got the asada with her egg. If you are there for breakfast, which you should be, you should get that. **Lomo Saltada — This is what I ordered and it is also as awesome. Long strips of asada doused in this awesome sauce, with drenched fries and a side of rice. This was so good. Being the second day in Miami, I have been treated with good food here. Thank you very much for the meal.

Small local café with excellent breakfast and nice service. There’s nothing fancy in that place but please try this local cage if you are visiting, what they serve is worth it :)

The best huevos rancheros I have ever had. Eggs were fried to a perfect medium, fresh pinto beans, fried plantains, and homemade verde hot sauce to top it off– and coffee included in the price! Two of us ate very large and filling breakfasts for less than $ 20.

This is not a hole in the wall, this is a diamond in the rough, with excellent traditional flavors of moms home cooking, and a very friendly atmosphere. No pretensions, shits and T-shirts alike just happy to eat well. A little cup of espresso at the end just ads to the perfect meal with an incredible price! DONT miss this little gem. — it must be good if I «the Angry Pepper» is giving it a 5⁄5 stars Supper Rico! Gracias por todo. ~so states the Angry Pepper!

This seemingly hole-in-the-wall was pretty good. I love corned beef hash and they have awesome hash! They also have mimosas with fresh-squeezed orang juice! The breakfast was pretty good and the service was quick. It definitely isn’t a fancy brunch place but it is worth checking out at least once. The place was already packed so we sat at the bar. I wish they had a hook to hang my purse on.

Just wow — best huevos rancheros ever — with skirt steak so tender you can cut with a fork! For 1⁄3 the buckaroonies inside a nearby hotel. Plus very personable and friendly service.

Excellent place for great authentic food downtown. Looks like(and is) a hole in the wall but don’t let that deceive you; the food and service are fantastic. Wife and I went for breakfast after a very early flight. Their heuvos rancheros(cuban style) hit the spot with a fantastic house made hot sauce. Great fresh tortillas, fried cheese and plantains, with black beans and salsa. Came back the next day for lunch and shared cuban and medianoche sandwiches. If you want a great version of these classics, I highly recommend. Stacked full(lots of roast pork) they were huge and greatly satisfying. While both fantastic I preferred the medianoche with its soft, sweeter egg bread.

I love KCs, you want healthy… This is the spot! I used to work in the same building where KC is located and ordered their breakfasts several times and KC will make it as you please. The oatmeal it’s delicious and the right consistency, but my favorite is the egg sandwich! The parking it’s an issue since KC is located inside a business building and there isn’t many places to park, it’s also a bit of an inconvenience to since you will have to walk a bit to get there, from wherever you park. But if you are in the area is a good spot to catch something healthy to eat.

Cheap, fast authentic Cuban breakfast spot. Fresh orange juice. Got an egg scramble. Next will go with the cheese toast. How could you go wrong?

My wife and I have taken to biking to downtown to try out a lot of the places to eat in the area. We wondered into K C Café. the place was small, but had great reviews so we gave it a spin. I got pancakes and eggs and my wife got the Spanish breakfast with beans and queso. Her breakfast in all fairness was good. Mine the pancakes were ok but the eggs were awful and mostly in edible. The service was non existent and for such a small place that’s almost inexcusable. We kept having to stand from our outside table to go to the serving bar for refills and to pay the bill. Theres great stuff in the area so no reason for me to give this another go.

I was in Miami touring the city, waiting for my next flight and needed to eat. With my food allergies and also not feeling well at the time, I wanted something simple(fries, grits, bacon, plain foods). I found this restaurant on Unilocal, and went to it. The staff members were very nice, and the restaurant was small but cozy. All I ordered was fries and a sprite, and both were good. The person I was with ordered pancakes and bacon. The pancakes were so thick, large and gorgeous. The bacon tasted like fat back and was thick as well(we didn’t like it). Definitely a nice place to visit for food.

Don’t be fooled by this café’s appearance, which could just as easily be a spot in Havana, their food is excellent and their service is friendly. If you’re looking for spot to take a date, try someplace else, but if you’re with the guys and just want a place to sit and eat, look no further. I’ve never had a bad meal here, try it out yourself!

Last night, Becki and I did a photo walk with Trey Ratcliff! He was great, what an amazing person, so giving of his time, skills and heart! Before we left downtown Miami this morning, I Unilocaled for someplace fun for breakfast. Wow! Did we find the perfect downtown Cuban American place! Becki took no risks and had the French toast which was good. I dove in and had the Huevos Rancherous, poached eggs, fried cheese, refried beans, and sweet plantains. I also chose the Flank Steak upgrade which was the best part. It’s Cuban style cooked with great crunchy edges with some kind lemony and pepper seasonings. Outstanding! I even tried a little of there home made salsa verde picante on the steak. Great flavor with some serious pop that kicks in slowly! Wow! Then we noticed a hand made, in the blender lemon aid, being created. We got that for desert! Extra tart offset with just the right amount of sweetness! Extra Yummy! Another great Unilocal find!!! Good Job! Well Done! Next time you visit downtown Miami, live on the wild side and salsa your way over to K. C’s and ask for Monica. She is great and will take good care you and make you a great breakfast! Enjoy!

One of the best breakfast spots in DT Miami. SERVICE was excellent just like they’re fresh squeezed orange juice and freshly grind coffee(by the way it free w/every breakfast plate you order). Can’t wait to go back here again.

While on a trip to Miami, my friend and I were looking for a breakfast joint. Luckily we stumbled upon this little place in the downtown area. This is very much a mom and pop family own café, the owners were SUPER friendly and extremely welcoming. The prices were good, the servings were astronomical! My favorite? Dipping that buttered cuban toast in their green hot sauce! My friend liked to dip her cuban toast in the Café con Leche! Mmm… Btw, their café con leche was a little lighter than what I was expecting, but I realized I actually preferred it lighter and less sweet. :)

Came here for lunch on a Saturday. There were only 2 – 3 other small parties. Ordered the lomo saltado, KC’s club sandwich and steak sandwich. KC club was good and had lots of bacon; the fries were bland. Steak sandwich had good meat and onions, but crunchy tomatoes. Lomo saltado was okay. Service was a lil slow, and they brought out our dishes pretty staggered. Lomo first, club next, then steak sandwich a few mins later. Makes it kind of awkward because you and your friends want to start eating at the same time, ya know? Also, they included tip in the bill, even though we only had a party of 3. Haven’t really come across that. Is it a Miami thing? Either way, they tipped themselves less than what we planned to tip, oh well. Don’t think I’d rush back here to eat, especially with so many other options around downtown. It was reasonably priced.
