Kaffe Krystal Nightclub

Don’t worry everyone… I was in that strip mall yesterday and Kaffe Krystal is now officially closed.

Um no. I’ve only come here for events thrown by promoters/​others in the college life scene but I know that one thing remains the same. The management here is atrocious.
This club masquerades as an upscale venue but really it’s just some joint in a strip mall with decent decorations. VIP area is a joke, a bunch of couches rotated around in a circle, takes up half the room and leaves no dancing space for all the other patrons on the outside.
Every time I’ve been here I’ve been invited to join someone in the VIP section and the little security guards have mental breakdowns saying «no band, no entry» (referring to hanging in out in their makeshift «luxury» zone).
Blah this place is wack. Idk how it is on «regular» nights but based off of my experiences here over my years in college I say STAY AWAY.

The waitress had the brass cajones to charge a $ 3 tip as in gratuity included upon swiping my card and it bugged me because it was without my consent, on an overpriced $ 12 dollar drink and it was rude on her behalf for doing so. but no matter, I proceed. We drank our bottles, we danced the night away and we left.
I was charged 15 dollars for a redbull and vodka. So it made sense to buy a bottle! 2 bottles between all of us came to $ 300 with tip.
Overall– a great time at this club, mainly because of the people i went with. Partly because i was drinking… It took awhile to stop the top 40 radio stuff and start the real spanish music.
But it wasnt bad for A. the club not being packed on sat night. because usually if a club is dead id give it a low rating. Luckily, i went with people. B… its a cuban scene and if your like me, not cuban, then you might agree that cuban reggaeton or merengue electronico needs alittle mix with something less loud and crazy… Its definitely not over the top like Club Ache. thats like stepping into cuba. C Expensive drinks… and its really amazing that this club can survive all the way out here. in a shopping plaza way out in Bumblefuck Kendall

I would go again.
AND BTW the club next door was not allowing us to go in without paying admission. they DO charge to go back n forth… No reentry and 20 dollar admission at kaffe krstyal

It really is amazing that a club can survive way out in Wild West Kendall, so Kaffe Krystal my hats off to you. There niche, you ask?
Straight Latin music all night long on Saturday nights. Crazy to think in Miami that a place in Kendall is where so many people want to dance to Spanish music. I would have thought some other club in a better location would have caught on to their secret by now.
With that said, the drinks are cheap and the place looks very unassuming, nothing special.
Would I return to this place?
Probably not.
Unless I was being lured by beautiful Latina women or if my lady friend insists on me visiting her at work again.

Good times, good times, but probably for the wrong reasons.
If you like the Cubany company, spanish music galore, and having to pay a cover if you’re a girl, then this is perfect.
I really did have fun at this place, I just don’t see it as a very «hip» place.

I have to say that for being in the middle of a shopping center/​strip mall, you’ve really nailed your scene. I have been here twice, and both times, it was a Saturday night. When I saw there was a line for a club in the middle of a strip-​mall, I knew I had to see what was going on inside.
Your club is actually split into two different clubs, although you can access the other from whichever side you come in. The other side is called Tabu, and that is a much smaller room that only plays Latin music and live bands.
Regardless, both sides are always jam-​PACKED with tons of people, all of which seem to be having a really good time. There are all kinds of people to be found here, from Guido Dance Teams to Ravers to the South American model hotties. It’s diverse, yet everyone seems to come together.
I can honestly say I had a good time here. From people watching to good music to cheap drinks, if one should find themselves in the middle of Kendall and looking for an after-​hours on the weekend, this is the place to be!
I give you credit Kaffe Krystal, you’re open til 7am. I don’t know how you’ve pulled it off… But you have. Thanks for the eye-​opening experiences. Not sure if we’ll be back, but glad I can say I’ve been and more than once. :)
