These people are sharks and generally incompetent, and you will be subject to their poor advice and misunderstanding of the market (at best) when you deal with them, or otherwise will constantly wonder if your interests are their interests (not). SO BEWARE. Maybe it’s how Keller William does business, but this particular group seems to the worst thing to happen to this neighborhood and the surrounding areas.

Sad to say, me and my family had a very frustrating experience selling our home. The Keller Williams agent advised us to start our asking price significantly higher than imagined. Great idea, right? WRONG. A rational examination of market comps proved this, but we foolishly went with these «pros». Several months later and many eager buyers without a single offer within 35% of the asking price later, we ended the relationship and relisted with an intelligent competitor who actually understands the market – and we suspect, doesn’t insult potential buyers with menopausal behavior (some acquaintances of ours stumbled onto one of many, many open houses and reported back… so embarrassing). Long story short, the competing agent helped us sell our home soon thereafter.
In a nutshell, KW greed and incompetence led us down a time-​consuming, foolish road. We’d heard bad things about them elsewhere and wish we had listened, but greed got the better of us. Lesson learned. It’s really a shame for sellers AND buyers in this and surrounding neighborhoods… that said, if you are interested in a KW listing be SURE to have an independent buyers agent. If you’re a seller, shop around.
