I have never written a review about anything or anyone. I just don’t have the time, and I don’t think it makes a difference. But, I am so disappointed and angry about how this doctor treated me, that I hope it reaches out at least his office, and no other patient has to experience this. I had my first appointment on Jan. 28th at the UM Hospital location. I went in for a NON-COSMETIC skin issue. I was seen by intern who was polite and informative. He came in for 3 minutes. Maybe 4. When he took a look at the area(private area) he made an expression of disgust. I don’t blame him, I suffer from a terrible condition. Though, as a medical professional I was surprised to see him react like that. Yet, I can get past that. I asked him to drain some of the boils. He said no need. He prescribed antibiotics. I told him I had already taken antibiotics for this condition, which I’ve been suffering for 4 years. He said nothing to that. All he did was try to convince me to be part of a clinical trial and gave me a prescription for antibiotics.

Best dermatologist in town, hands down. Out of formerly named cedars hospital(now UM hospital). No haute-coture Botox/Fillers doc here, Dr. Kerdel is a true clinical derm specializing in psoriasis and other true medical skin diseases. Great bed-side manner and friendly staff.
