Laser Center of Miami

I don’t normally write reviews but after my experience today I felt people need to know what to expect when they go to the Laser Center of Miami. First of all, I found out about this place through Unilocal and by the reviews it looked like a nice place. Jane was who helped me. she was nice and so is the staff but, when it came down to the pricing I was told $ 100 TOTAL (i even made sure and asked) which i paid on my first session. but today (my second session) I get the service done and when i go to book my next appt. i’m asked for another $ 100 and i come to find out it’s $ 100 per session. Which is ridiculous! $ 600 to remove arm pit hair! Then i was told that every session varies in price. who does that? Anywhere you go you get a total then they tell you the payment plan. It was very misleading and i felt like i was being taken advantage of. I definitely won’t be going back. Make sure to ask for the TOTAL AMOUNT because they won’t tell you right off the bat.

I’ve been going to The Laser Center for laser hair removal. I’m happy with the results. The reason why i couldn’t give them 5 stars is because the lady I go with Sylvia most of the times is very serious looking and makes me feel awkward. I can’t change people because I’m too embarrassed to do that but if I were to recommend this place I would suggest going with one of the other ladies. Also, I wish she could be more careful about doing the laser in every inch of the treated area. I see when she does it she is not thorough but I’m also too embarrassed to point that out. So, i end up with a few patches. Laser is an investment so go to a consultation with at least two people and pick the one who seems the nicest and makes you feel comfortable.

I drive a very long distance for laser hair removal. Myriam and her staff are amazing. I’ve never had to wait, treatments are given in a very professional manner with excellent results. The office is beautiful and super, super clean.

I have been to laser places in Los Angeles, New Orleans and New York where I paid a lot more more and got zero results! Maggie is amazing!!! Super clean and amazing results. I haven’t shaved in months and now Ive started veins. I will never go anywhere else and I am now traveling into Miami just to see them

I’ve been seeing Maggie for years (2009) and she is a sweetheart. Even though my schedule is hectic and I tend to reschedule appointments often, the staff is always very accommodating and almost always rearrange for my convenience. One time they were about to close, and because I was stuck in traffic, they stayed open a little bit longer just because I was on the way. I mean, who does that nowadays? I’ve seen this place grow and change offices throughout the years, and I am completely in love with the new location. It is so clean, professional and neat. The environment is great, smells nice, which I think is pretty important when you’re dealing with laser, facials, etc… I can honestly recommend this place if you’re thinking of getting laser. Even if it isn’t cheap, I am a strong believe of, «You get for what you pay for»

I’ve been seeing Myriam on and off for about 10 years now, based on the recommendation of a friend.
The reception staff is always friendly and very helpful — even at 6:30AM!!! They have a schedule that pretty much accommodates anyone. Prices are very affordable and Myriam is more than willing to work with you.
Very happy to be able to wear shorts and dresses all summer long and not have to worry about shaving and ingrown hairs this year!
If you’re on the fence about laser hair removal, don’t even think twice and go see Myriam at Laser Center of Miami. I don’t know why it took me this long to have it done.

Best laser hair removal place in Miami. There are no up-​front costs and you pay per session, not all at once like many other places do. They accept all credit cards and even checks. This place looks phenomenal and all their machines are the latest ones in the market. The laser techs are very professional and they know everything and every single detail about hair removal. The receptionists are all very courteous and they even offered me coffee and snacks. These people do care about their patients’ well-​being, they always follow up after the first treatment and I can call anytime that I have a question. At laser Center of Miami you get the best prices and an excellent service! Oh, and by the way, they offer free consultation with no obligations to make your first appointment or anything, and to me thats amazing! Do not think twice and go to Laser Center of Miami, you wont regret it!

I think this place is great. Very affordable in comparison with others and you do see results! My laser tech is Jane & you can’t get any better. She is detailed, professional and personable. My niece is extremely happy she is getting laser on her legs since she has issues with ingrown hairs and it is much more affordable than her dermatologist. We have only gone twice and already seeing results. I highly recommend this place and don’t understand why anyone would have a bad experience.

I really didn’t think much of laser hair removal, but my dermatologist recommended it as a good option. To be honest, I thought a lot of it was a scam. My friend told me she went to Maggie at the Laser Center of Miami and said she was amazing; and that it works.
IT WORKS. GO TO MAGGIE. GO TO LASER HAIR CENTER OF MIAMI. DON’T GO ELSEWHERE. The price is good, but for how good of a job she did I would pay anything. Maggie was amazing; she made me feel comfortable and did an awesome job. She is very experienced.

I wholeheartedly agree with Christina P’s review of this place, but unlike her, I got REALLY lucky to find this place. I recently moved to Miami from San Francisco and wanted to get a laser touch up before I jumped into the fabulous Miami life of swimming and sunbathing. I checked Unilocal and other online reviews to try to find a decent place. For some reason, you Miami-​ans don’t write a lot of Unilocal or other reviews. What up wit dat?! There weren’t enough reviews to help me make an informed decision, so I basically just took a leap of faith and picked Laser Center of Miami. (I called ahead of booking an appt and Myriam called me and gave me info, so that probably also helped to sway my decision.) I’m so glad I did! They booked my appt after work which was later than they wanted to, but they accommodated me anyway. I didn’t realize how far away the center was from my house, nor how bad the traffic would be getting from here to there, and I was late! When I showed up, they didn’t make me feel like a loser which was nice, because I really did feel bad.
Myriam did my laser removal and I love her bedside manner. She is very matter of fact, but also caring, experienced, knowledgable, and thorough. And to top off the experience with a big cherry, I found out that after having my lower legs, extended bikini, and underarms lasered, I was only charged the «touch up» rate of $ 200! Wow. I hit the jackpot with this place. I will most definitely be back after summer! Oh, and they even call you the day following the the appt to make sure everything is ok. They are the real deal.

Navigating the world of laser hair removal can be tricky. Many businesses overcharge, have underexperienced staff, subpar machines, and gimmicks galore. Unfortunately, I went through two different laser hair removal centers before finding Laser Center of Miami, and lost a lot of money along the way.
I finally found the right place. The prices are better than ANY OTHER LASER CENTER in Miami (trust me, I have done my research). Myriam Barrero, the owner and my specialist, is a no-​frills, straightforward, experienced, knowledgeable, and HONEST person. The reception staff is professional and friendly, facility is neat and clean, and equipment is state-​of-​the art. You never have to wait, as long as you arrive on time for your appointment.
Most importantly, the results have been great. I had thick, black hair on my face (chin, jaw, and neck) and had to shave daily because it was so unsightly. After only ONE treatment, upon regrowth of the hair (which took about 4 weeks), it was already thin and blonde. I’ve done 7 more treatments after that and am almost done. I finally feel free! I can do simple things like tie my hair back, or get close to people without feeling self-​conscious! Yay!
